Mine did something odd on the charger last night running 2.2.
Nothing serious, the battery indicator showed 99% after like 6 or so hours on the charger. It did not over charge or over heat or freeze up, it was at 84* and totally responsive when I woke up. I just unplugged the charger from the phone, plugged it back in and 10 minutes later it showed "charged".

Gotten two more freezes, disappointingly. I was excited for a fix but am just fine rebooting every night or two to make sure the phone runs smoothly.
The first one I could see it start to slow down and then I watched as the crt animation turned the screen off in SLOW MOTION and then wouldn't turn back on.
Second time happened about day and a half to 2 days later(today). I was just browsing (dolphin) and it just got slower and slower and the browser crashed I assume because it couldn't process anymore. Force close and then try the browser again and of course it freezes on me. The first force close is my usual way of knowing when its time to immediately reboot or else face a battery pull soon!
But yeah once again just reporting I'm happy with my phone overall! I'm just surprised I'm the only one...perhaps it's my phone

its not just your phone doing it, it has happened to me and a few others.
I'm still working on getting it fixed.

thank you very much, just needed to be sure, and over all this rom is stable? i saw that a few people even the dev say that after a couple of days being on that the phone freezes? will a daily reboot prevent this from happening or is this in just some cases?

Possibly but im not positive since I always did a quick reboot anyway almost every day. Overall though this rom is very stable and reliable. I still use it and switch back and forth between this and the ICS roms
wow so there really is an ICS ROM? could you please leave a link for the most stable ics rom? thats what im really trying to put on this baby for my fianc

Yeah ctmod is a safe bet, if you feel like giving them a whirl though you should. Just make a back up. I run miui for the most part and restore ctmod when I need a camera.
thats cool, does the miui rom actually have ICS features? like different lock screen and can pull down status bar while in lock screen you know, things of that nature?
BTW i flashed the CTMod ROM (which btw i dont know what CTMod means lol sorry) last night and it is definitely running smooth, i got rom toolbox pro and loaded some new font and boot animation from it so yeah def. awesome thanks again for all the good advice!!
Lastly, do you think the miui ICS rom will be updated and fixed in the future?

MIUI has a lot of themes you can put on it that change the lock screen, status bars, etc. Both roms are being worked on by the devs, we just gotta be patient

Lol. It tripped me out when I saw how much juice 3G was pulling from the battery when I wasn't even using the phone. It's a Damn shame the 3G is such a battery hog.
