Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/01/13)

i'll look at it again later. Its trying to access a sound file and failing for some reason even tho everything looks fine.

Edit: If you wanna try something, pull settings.apk out of ct3.68 and push it to /system/app and try again.

it worked!!! :D:D

For those who try to install the settings apk from the last version of CTMod, after you overwrite the existing file, tap on the new settings apk and select install.

Does this ROM work on the ZTE Warp? And if so, what version of CWM should I use to flash it safely?

No. This ROM is for the Marquee only. It has been made for other phones but I don't think Bloodawn made it for the Warp. Check the Warp section. If it's there, use that version. This version will probably BRICK your device.

http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-warp-all-things-root/628982-rom-ctmod-3-68-10-7-12-a.html he did 3.68 for the warp. love randomly running across a couple prevail guys.

LOL, thanks for checking that for him. I knew that Blood had made CTMod for 3 or 4 phones but wasn't sure if the Warp was one of them. That's the reason I told him to check. :D One things for sure, he damn sure didn't want to flash our version. :p

@ Jdublington, everything that you need to know about installing CTMOd for your phone will be found in the All Things Root section for the ZTE Warp. That includes that phones version of CWM.

Here's a pic of the new CTMOd 3.75 Final with my WetMod theme. It has just a few changes. The main being the status bar. Clock is Beautiful Widgets, and the launcher is ADW EX.

Thanks go to Bloodawn for hooking us up with this amazing ROM. The new ZRAM is awesome.

Go to system/etc/init.d/S07HYPER and read. It tells you exactly what to do in the file itself. You will need to use the text editor to change the script. Once changed, reboot. When you have done all that, use a terminal emul. and type in su, press enter then "free" without the quotes, it will let you know if it's working or not. If you don't know how to do what I just explained, you probably don't need to be messing with it just yet. You could get in there and really mess something up.

after checking the terminal emulator. what are you suppose to see if it is working?

thanks

sorry to bother anybody but I'm running 3.65 ctmod on my prevail and its time for a fresh install as my phone has become buggggy. will this rom work on my phone?

Yes it will. Keep in mind that bluetooth connections that need a password aren't working and you will need to install the fix below. Bluetooth connections that do not need a password are working fine. Other than that, it's great. It also has ZRAM. If you read the thread from this point and go back a page or 2 you'll see how to activate it.

This should fix the bluetooth issue. Just flash it with CWM.

Wait, 3.75 for Marquee works on Prevail? Are you serious?
There is a version for the Prevail. Go to the first post of this thread, look at Blood's signature at the bottom of the post, click on the link for the Prevail version of CTMod.

Alright, I'm trying to figure out what combination of scheduler and governor is going to give me the best combination of performance and battery economy.

I've read over descriptions of everything available and I still have no idea what to go with?

What are you guys using and why?

Every device behaves differently. Some combinations may work great on one device, but sluggish on another. Look at these phones as snowflakes. While yes, they are all snow, no two are exactly the same.

I tend to stick with smartassv2 for the governor. I like the ramping and I see very little lag without using as much juice as other ramping governors like brazillian wax. I don't really change the scheduler too often, as deadline works fine. However, I have used noop a few times and had no issues.
