Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/01/13)

WOW! I just applied zram compression via Pimp my From for this phone. It has made a world of difference with speed!

It has been like that almost 2 days. I have not noticed any negative side effects. She is snap pier and the interface has that ICS/JB quickness to it. I know for a fact that my boot time has significantly improved. I averaged 1-1.5 minutes and now it is in the 30 second range.

Just installed 3.75 - is the Recovery option removed from the Power menu? It was very useful rather than the VolDown+Power key combo on reboot. Any way to get it back please?

Am i the only one who cant stream videos other than youtube? When trying to watch videos on websites, the browser lets me either download or "play". It downloads fine, but when i try to just play it without downloading, Quickpic says it was not able to play.

install flash and set your browser to desktop mode.
 
For an ssh/sftp *server* on this device running 3.75, what would you recommend? I'm looking for one that doesn't run all the time, I can turn it on/off when I need it only. I tried DropBear SSH II from the market but it's got some issues, besides the fact that it requires busybox and not sure how installing busybox might affect the rest of the installed tools that come with the ROM.

never used one of those apps so I don't know, but busybox is already installed on the rom.

Is busybox already installed or toolbox? I can't tell as I ended up installing busybox from the market so I'm not sure what was already there before. I hope I didn't mess anything up now, I'd hate to redo the entire setup again :(

When I tried to install DropBear SSH Server II it complained that busybox was not installed. Maybe it doesn't check for the presence of the busybox executable but instead it checks whether the Busybox app is installed.

How do you get shell access? Just "adb shell"? It would be nice to do it over wifi when needed, to avoid connecting the cable.

I just told you it was busybox bro. the version might not be right tho for the app you were trying to use and that might be why it didn't work.

yea, the command is adb shell.
 
Is there a way to uninstall Boat Browser? Ever since I did a clean install of 3.75, I've been getting those lousy chinese texts in my notifications.
 
Hi guys im confussed here and im a newbee so i really hope i can get the help i need to make this marquee run like it was made to do so. I have my rooted and im not sure what to do next should i add this rom and than a kernal but what kernal im really not sure what needs to be done first and what needs to be done last . please help me in getting this straight i will give many many thanks if i can truly get this phone to run right with no problems . Thanks

CT already comes with the latest kernel, so if your phone is rooted and you have ClockWorkMod installed you can just flash this rom and thats it.
