I have read about this proggie in some other forums and it has a lot of good buzz going for it. It specifically mentions the ability to backup SMS. Supposedly it does this VERY WELL.

I have CTMOD 3.75 on my LG Marquee and my girlfriend just got hers, so this week I have to root hers, put this excellent mod on it (THANKS BLOOD DAWN!) then restore her old data from her old LG Optimus S to this one. She does not keep SMS's so I will not be able to test it. Try it and leave us some feedback!

Been a good 3 months or so for me. I installed 3.75 at the very end of November and have had no problems that I noticed. Can't wait for your next release. It feels totally fine now...cannot imagine the polish you are going to put on this sucker! THANKS...for all the great, hard work and effort!

I just got a (used) Galaxy Nexus to use on Ting. I'll be sad to leave this nice ROM behind, but it's time I give up on GB and move on to JB.
I'll be sure to install the latest update of this ROM and play with it before I sell the Marquee. Plus the buyer needs to get a device with a nice ROM on it :)

You guys are in for a treat. The upcoming release of CTMOD has some very nice additions to it. Bloodawn has hooked you guys and gals up with another great piece of work which is sure to put smiles on your faces. :D:thumbup:
 
im sorry if i missed it somewhere in this thread but i recently installed ct mod (awesome ROM BTW i also installed font installer and boot loader editor and my phone has never ran better) the only problem im having is you removed YouTube so i figured okay ill download it from play store which i did but it says i need Google play services i went to download that and it says i cant cause it has the same signature as another app. i liked the original stock YouTube app but cant find it only the updated one from the play store which doesn't work. thank you in advance.
 
i got it from the playstore its called boot animation root by jrummy apps inc he also made the font installer and makes a animation mod to mod the animations your phone performs and i rather use the app cause its so much easier i click the app see my subscriptions its alot simpler

You're teasing again, Wetbiker. :) I just switched back to ctmod after running megatron (nice rom, btw) since its release. But I've been following the threads, and I decided to come back to ctmod (been using it since the prevail) just to see what Bloodawn is cooking up. Blood's work has always been top notch, and I'm looking forward to the next release. Are there any tidbits you or Bloodawn can share with a fellow android traveler?

I've been around this forum since the beginning (just a little quiet lately), and the prevail forum before that. I have used all iterations of Bloodawn's rom since the beginning and have never been disappointed...

Bloodawn, send me link if you want another tester.

How's it going bro? I would like to give out some info on the newest version but I don't want to spoil the surprise. He's made some very nice improvements to CTMOD . Let me just say that I said " OH shit" several times. Lol. Very nice improvements indeed. :D

Wow dude hopefully he finishes fixing the bugs and finishes the rom and hopefully the kernel too, the kernel is beast so far can't wait for both

Things are going nicely... Got my Masters in Dec. and engaged on New Years Eve... Current job is winding down, so I'm looking for work in my new career.

I knew everything would be hush hush on the new rom, but it never hurts to ask. I guess I have to build up my cred again. :rolleyes:
 
Just thought I'd ask in this thread since this is the ROM I would immediately throw on the phone, but is this phone a steal for the $139 I can get it from Best Buy for right now? Would be coming from being a long time Galaxy Prevail user.
 
Be very careful when buying a phone with no warranty. If buying off Ebay, make sure the seller has good feedback from other buyers. There are some snakes out there that would like nothing more than to sell you a worthless phone. Sad but true. Just make sure you use a PayPal account so you're covered in case you get a lemon. Buying with a credit card that is not registered with a PayPal account does not qualify you for their warranty services. Please keep that in mind.
