Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Ouch, that hurts!!!

If you consistently get an error even though you upload the correct apk's and everything,
If you cant at this moment create your own themes, is cuz your brain is quite bland!!! lol

Anyways, post your screenshots and let the theme makers do their magic!!! ;)

Yes like Gus said, OUCH!! on the bland!
We make ours manually from scratch, without the aid of the kitchen. We edit the colors the scripts the pngs extra... all manually. Apktool and notepad++, Google them and read up.

Fixed SystemUI bugs (so it works with UOT)
Removed Voltage Control, Boat Browser, Stock Clock and the old Superuser
Added Lightning Browser, MiClock and CWM Superuser
Rebuilt CTSettings (fixed some bugs and added CPU/I/O Control to it)
Updated gapps
Updated File Explorer and QuickPic
Updated Busybox
Updated some of the theme
Updated the lockscreen a little
Updated font
Enabled CRT effect
New Settings layout
New boot and shutdown animation
Ported swipe to clear for notifications
Ported DSPManager from CM7
Ported animations from JB 4.2.2
Cleaned build.prop and init scripts
Performance and stability improvements

Like always, themes not made for this release will break fixes/changes and restore data/app's at your own risk. If you do either of these and have any problems don't come here posting about it lol.

If you don't like the new browser feel free to just delete Lightning.apk from /system/app and install whatever you want from play.
 
Thanks Blood, it'll give me something to play around with a bit. I've moved on to the Warp Sequent, but I don't get to play much with that phone since development is pretty slow if it even really exists anymore. Still appreciate all the work you put into making everyone enjoy the Prevail much than they would without you!

Just installed this and wow way smoother than the last version! Good job! And to CWhatever, I'm still waiting on my purple and black theme :p

Hi Bloodawn,

just a quick question..... I normally don't sync my contacts with any Google account, but with my local Outlook..... In all previous CTMod versions, when I opened my contacts on the phone and selected "Add new", I had three choices, 2 Google accounts and something like "Phone Only"...... Now the "Phone Only" option is gone..... What settings do I miss to get that back ??? Thx

I've never tried to change how my contacts sync so I never even noticed that option lol. but the contacts app is exactly the same as it was in 75 and 75.2 so whatever options you had with those is still there.

It might depend on the order you set it up or something. I tried to add a contact without being signed into google and it showed phone only, when I logged into google I went to add another it said the gmail account instead.

I see that too, no biggie for me but I have my phone on 3.75 and has 3 options and I have a test phone to get things set up or test out and the new 3.8 it doesn't have the same option when adding a contact.

Its not how they sync it is just click add a new contact and it gives you 3 options to choose from in the old, doesn't bother me though!
 
I never had that option before. my phone, what I'm doing wrong? In order for me to save contacts I have to add to google accounts.
 
ROFL I go away from our forum for a couple of days and Blood drops the new update. That's what I get for hanging around the Nexus forum and XDA too much. *Goes to edit Devices info in profile*.
