Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

3.1 beta 11 is the one I use and also the newest. The widget works on that one. Everything works on that one. Not really sure of any problems with wifi tether these days.

What is really nice about 3.1 Beta 11 is you can stop tethering and start it again. Previous releases required me to reboot the phone to tether again. Only "issue" with the Beta 11 is upon starting again, I get some error message and the meter that shows Upload/Download speeds doesnt appear on the screen. Not a CTmod 3.0 problem, happened on 2.4 & 2.5 as well.
 
i think the new keyboard works much better. By the way after putting 3.0 my battery starting going crazy again. my be just me tho.
 
receiving calls is still broke, I'm working on it

everything should be working like normal now, let me know if you find anything i missed

Fixed volume
New boot animation, wallpaper, kernel splash
Made settings background semi-transparent
probably some other stuff that I don't remember


heres a sceenshot of the new transparent settings. had to change to a lighter wallpaper so you can see it better.

The removed apps zip is still the old one. I'll try to get it updated tomorrow.
 
I'm still getting a force close on incoming calls . Text , 3g and outgoing calls are working . . I'm still working on it and I'll update shortly .
 
I just downloaded a new copy of the zip . Working on it now . I'm gonna start from scratch and see what's up .



EDIT : crazy thing is .... everything else seems 2 be working . Text , 3g and outgoing calls were working fine .

Exactly for me. Outgoing calls, bluetooth, wifi, 3g....everything ok. Incoming calls and Emails, no.

3.1 'force close's too. Reverted to 2.5 for now.

That's a no go on the incoming calls . I'm still getting the same error message that I posted earlier . Blood , I tried everything that I know of to get this thing to work . I even went as far as to wipe my phone completely and install version 2.5 to make sure I could receive calls .
I could receive calls on 2.5 so I installed the 3.1 . I tried to call again and it still would not accept incoming calls .The phone will vibrate and the phone icon shows up in the status bar but it will not allow me to answer . All I get is the error message . I tap it and the radio shuts down then comes back on then It shows that I have a missed call in the status bar . Damn things got me scratching my head . lol

Been a long day . Gonna get some rest and try again tomorrow . :D

I am also getting FC's on everything.... just about every 2mins or when i txt, call or go to market.

I tried it, 3.0 phone wont even ring , my girl saix itwent to voice mail thus im $in6le now lmao

nothing should of force closed other then phone.apk

were you using a different kernel?
 
I downloaded the 3.1, installed it and called myself with a landline and a cell and the calls went through with no force closes

are you guys using 3.1 as it is or are you installing a different kernel?
 
First , I flashed over CM7 . Incoming calls forced closed . I then wiped the phone completely and installed CTMod 2.5 . It received calls so I installed 3.1 over 2.5 . It started force closing on me again . I'm gonna try it one more time right now . I'm downloading a new copy of the zip just in case , for some reason , both the copies I DL'ed earlier are corrupt .

I'll letcha know in about 10 minutes .


UPDATE: Still force closing . I called w/ the computer and a cell phone .


UPDATE: Blood , I've done everything from doing a factory wipe after installing 3.1 to clearing the Dalvik and even fixing permissions . Nothing seems to be working . I am still able to make outgoing calls and 3g is working fine . Damn thing just won't let me answer . Voicemail and everything are still coming through also .

Oh , one more thing . On incoming calls , the phone only vibrates (yes, the ringer is on LOL) then the error message pops up .

Lemme know whatcha think or what else I should try .

Restoring back to CM7 now . I'll check back w/ ya in a few .
 
Flashed 3.1 early this morning. Was the b there then or has something changed? I downloaded it when I first woke up at 5AM. LOL.

Can't test the incoming call thing but will in a few.

No , when I call from the computer , the phone gets the call and vibrates just like it does when receiving a call from a cell phone . It just won't let me answer .


Does anyone else have 3.1 working yet besides Bloodawn ? If so , plz tell me what you did . lol :D

When you have some time can you run logcat then call yourself so I can see the error?

Hey Blood, I installed 3.1 last night and now every time I order a whopper from burger king with no pickles, they put pickles on it. This didn't happen before I installed 3.1, what gives?
