Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

My only complaint is the lock screen when talking on the phone, but that issue is already well known. Other than that minor issue, all of your roms are great.
 
Blood, thanks for all your great work! I'm noticing that in Wi-Fi settings, with Network notification turned off, and while connected to my home network... Wi-Fi networks "Scanning" keeps running.

I've tried enabling/disabling Wi-Fi & Network notification, "Forgetting" my network and reconnecting... :confused:

I've not seen any posts about this, and not noticed this constant scanning occurring before... thoughts?
 
In everyone's opinion when is the best time to create the sd-ext partition on the sdcard? -I currently have CTMod 2.5/KK1.2/16GB SDCard class4 with a 2048 ext./0swap.

-I am going to upgrade to the CTMod3.2/KK2.0 with a 2048 ext partition. At what point should I partition the card.?
 
you do not need to repartition it if you are happy with the size of the existing one. just format it. a factory wipe will format it.
 
I installed the ctmod 3.2 and kk2, but never partitioned the card yet. And I need to use it for as an apps to SD setup.
 
Nevermind. I'm going back to 2.5/1.2, don't like 3.2, specificly the file manager replacement and the keyboard is to jumpy. Ill stick with the old setup. Even if it does kill the battery quick. But I'm pretty sure that's the 1.2 kernel.
 
Just replace them . The market has file managers and keyboards . That's what I did .

Yeah I know I can replace stuff like that, I still like 2.5 though, as far as the changes made between 2.5 and the newest one, I dont understand all that stuff/what it all means. I mean, don't just tell me to go to the 1st page and read the changelog, it wont matter to me.....lol

If you can explain to me the advantages of switching to 3.2, then maybe I can be sold on it.

I just want to get my phone to a point where it's all setup for good, that way I can start doing all my own complicated personnal stuff. Restoring backups are useless to me, I like doing everything from scratch. It's fun and I'm bored hald the time anyway. :D

What kinda things will you be changing on the new chiken tits?
And or are you planning to add new feat. On the new version?
 
Is it just me, or was the volume adjusted down with this mod ?? my phone seems a Lot more quiet after using this.. anyone know of any fix ? I am a bit hard of hearing and just can't hear my phone now. :\

3.2 is faster, better, newer OS, few new features.

it has some bugs tho, that i should have fixed in 3.3

i dunno if theres gonna be anything new yet, just some fixed shit mostly.
 
Hey, been reading as much as I could in these forums, they are awesome, and like everyone else, appreciate the work making this awesome mod.

I only came to a slight issue, nothing huge, but I noticed with your latest 3.2 that Haptic feedback on the bottom four touch buttons (settings, home, return, search) does not work. I even verified that the setting was enabled, which it is and it works when I type texts out. Any easy fix for this?

I woulda waited for 3.3 :( but the FA19 update was so annoying.

PS to whoever is interested, I am using KoumaKernel 2.0 with CTmod3.2 and there doesn't seem to be any issues.
