Root [ROM]Cyanogen Mod 6 Nightly

I'm guessing the answer to this is yes, but the nightly builds released since RC1 are still based on RC1, correct (i.e. contain all the same code as that release)? Or are they different development tracks?
 
This may be a stupid question, but I don't have a clear button on the notifications screen. How do you clear all the notifications?
 
I am constantly getting the following error "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly."

Is anyone else getting this?

Do you use BT? I could not pair earlier nightlies or RC1 with either of my cars. Additionally, ROM Manager could not swap/flash recovery images in CM6/Snapv2. Has either issue been addressed?

This is the fix for Facebook sync issues. Instead of using the adb push/pull method you could aslo use Root Explorer to make your edits. Also, if that doesn't make sense to you run a search through the CM6 thread on XDA, there are other explanations listed through the thread and they might be a little easier to perform. Keep in mind that after you do these steps and you've redownloaded Facebook for Android, open the app and login before you go to menu>settings>accounts & sync... once you log in facebook should show up in your sync menu.

I followed the above steps exactly, but sync still isn't working. It shows up in the menu where I try to add a new account to sync, but when I select it, nothing happens, it just sends me back to the previous screen. Any ideas?
 
Also, I miss the HTC phone dialer. I liked being able to just start typing someone's name via T9 in the dialer, and have it pull up all the matches. Is there any way to get that functionality back?

You can use some other programs that are available. I use aTakephone and love it.

If you are using Titanium Back up, delete sms/mms/apn dialer data and sms/mms prefs data and you shuld be good to go. thats what i did and it fixed my mms issue

Is this done through Titanium Backup itself? I can't seen to find an option for the above in that app.

For people who can't find it, in Titanium Backup, in the home screen search for anything that has mms in it. touch it, select delete daya, sometimes you need to reboot bt that will take care of it. Once you have it fixed run backup and you will be all set.

how do you like it without sense? Im a fan of sense but curious to see how it is without it. Im currently on Fresh 1.0.1 which has been outstanding so far but itching to try something new.
 
Can anyone tell me how I can see what's changed from nightly to nightly... I've heard it's in github? But I don't know where I go. Thanks!
 
Anyone know how to get Google Voice Search to update on CM6 for the Evo? It won't let me update it.... seems to not have Voice Search that's already installed on the phone associated to the Market so that I can update it...

Tried removing the old Voice Search with Titanium Backup and it says it can't install Voice Search in the Default Location...

I love this ROM, but I'm unable to pair BT with either of my cars ('04 TL, '07 RX350). Fresh 3.x pairs up without a hitch. Has anyone had a similar experience, or better still, found a way to successfully pair with a handsfree profile? TIA.
