oh yeah i knew there was one other thing i was forgetting. That's why I went back to katana:p
 
Go into options and have the messaging app slept the messages. I have an error where j can't turn the phone off,when I turn it off and charge it powers itself back on.

Glad to hear she's coming along well.

The GPS sometimes takes a while to lock in. First few times i used CM10 i couldn't get the GPS to lock in at all. I had to shut it off and on a few times. Though it could be because of the 3g data thing. I notice the GPS would work better over wifi
 
i have done flashing but i have a problem with the Mod. I cant see the videos playing. I can still hear the sound but no video. just a blank screen with video UI playing.
Any kind of fix to this problem!!!

read up a few post. we just talked about that. It's one of the things that isn't working yet. This ROM isn't for daily use yet.

Yup, worked well enough for me. Minus the video playback. Can't watch videos I record. I'll have to haul my old NS4g with me everywhere I go. And the fact I can't watch porn. Lol. Other than that everything seems smooth. Question though. From this could we port things like miui, paranoid Android and so forth?
 
Once PG gets back working and gets hotspot working itll be my daily too.
But for now we gotta let PG take care if his fam. Family first
 
Let me clarify, when I said for daily use. I meant for the average user. Tech Geeks aren't included.

Ive already given permission to one to do a miui port, paranoid can be built from SRC, so I would prefer for it to be done that way.

I also already have aokp n black bean src sync'd on my PC. ;)

Would building paraniod from source be like building cm10? Could you post a a github link to our device tree? Also if I were to ask for help budding paranoid and you weren't busy could you help? I'm pretty new to building ROMs.
 
The only thing bothering me of cm is the video playback but other than that is a great rom thanks pg for it im always jumping from stock to cm just for that thanks bro

Freaking awesome. I wish my PC was up So I could actually learn to build myself. But when you actually start I'm down for testing and finding bugs.
