I want to clean flash the 4/25 DU.
I am now running Franco Kernel. Will doing a complete wipe and a clean flash do away with Franco Kernel? That is what I wish to do, want to do all my work through DU.
Thought I read somewhere the only way to get rid of Franco Kernel was to revert to complete stock and work from there? I am also running Xposed and Gravity Box which I would like to reload and keep.

Any ideas?

Roms generally (must?) contain a kernel, so flashing DU will overwrite any kernel installed. From there, you can flash a different kernel if you want

Correct. The kernel lives in the boot partition in the boot.img which gets overwritten when you do a clean and install.

Now if DU used Franco kernel (which it doesn't) you would would obviously still have Franco kernel, but you will be good after a clean install.

OP updated with latest stable.

I've been running the latest stable build for the past 12 or 13 hours and with out any issues. I haven't noticed any of the bugs that some of the others have reported on xda.
As always @NYCHitman1 Thank you for all your hard work!

YMMV. Granted, I'm willing to bet that a majority of them are using xposed mods.

Yeah I think I have to agree with you there... With DU's rich features and tweaks, truthfully it really eliminates the need for xposed mods. The only xposed mod that I even use is the xposed GEL settings. Since I like to use the GEL launcher and the stock settings menu is very limited.

New DU build and in reflashing Franco I see that's been updated too!

I just did a clean flash and it's looking good as ever. The floating window looks impressive too, but it does need a bit of work functionally. It was really difficult to get two windows up side by side like the screenshot posted to G+, and I couldn't really work in each one simultaneously. The windows kept closing unintentionally, especially when trying to navigate in places outside the window. The back and home buttons like to close the floating window, and they also remove the app from the recents screen.

Pinch to resize is really cool too. In chrome, it also resized text so apps with pinch to zoom might have a conflicts

Where'd you see the change log? I'm wondering if volume music controls are added

I noticed this was in the new build! It may have been in a previous one but I didn't look. I also just noticed you can lock apps in the recents menu so they won't close when you clear all! That feature is in my backup from a few releases ago

Where do you activate this feature?

DU Awesome tip off the day... Long pressing on a notification in your status bar/notification drawer allows you too enable Floating Mode!
It's sweet... Try it! :D
