Root [ROM] GB-CMod7-Beta

the market that comes on the rom is the old market.. the first time you opne the market after adding ur google sync info and it asks you to accept blah blah.. its going to close.. and ur not gonna be able to use it for a minute.. and the next time you open it.. it should be the new market... this has been my experience for every rom i have flashed on every phone since they updated the market
 
Am I the only one who can't get this ROM to charge while the phone is off? It just turns the phone back on, then charges.
 
Ok.heres my question. How do you set your google sync. I tried setting up my gmail email with the account sync but it pops up and asks for domain etc.
 
I don't know how much CM7 differs from normal, but just go to settings, accounts & sync, click the "add account" button at the bottom, click "Google", then Next, and assuming you already have this Gmail account created, click sign in, type in your username and password, the click sign in at the bottom of that screen and you should be good. i've never had that ask me for domain stuff. sounds like you're using the other generic email app.
 
When u boot up for the first time after a fresh flash a window should pop open asking you to log in or sign up for a Google account. That is the Google sync. If you skip it during the initial setup you can get to it from settings> accounts> the black square G Google account
 
thanks fantasmo, checked it out seemed it was the problem trying to go from sense to cm7, so i flashed teamchicken rom then wiped and flashed cm7 worked perfect

I ask because this is android, which comes from google. by default it most certainly should have a means to add google accounts specifically. the first google account you add is what gets tied to everything in the phone, market and all.
 
After a fresh install it jumps right into home screen. there was not any configuration prompted to me.
I installed 5 times..
Then i found on cyanogen wiki the google apps .zip update for cm7 at http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-gb-20110613-signed.zip

and flashed it in..NOW it works.
So now that that is in order no problems so far, Bluetooth works with my odb2 interface.
Only thing i have noticed that screen lock does not work properly. pressing the option button blows right past it

love this rom, and i got a pretty nice lil cyan theme going on it to running launcher pro heres a screen shot

but my question is how do i change the lil green bars under the wifi and stuff from that ugly green to the cyan?
