why not just use multiple ones. Especially because they're all free :D I have a few of them but you cannot pay me to use opera.

My favorite is boat but they all have their strength and weeknesses. some are lighter and some have add ons for days ;)

Nada, haven't touched the Swype in any way. In fact, I don't even use it. Immediately installed GO Keyboard. I switched over to Swype itself to see if maybe it had to be active in order to add words, but I still get the error =( Oh well, I'll wait for a new ROM or an update. It's not like the dictionary is an extremely used features.

I agree 100%. In fact I don't see why your trying to get cm7 to work when we could just have cm9. But hey, I'm not any better. I switch between three Operating systems lol. BTW, I took your advice and took apart the repo and I'm just barely hitting the first layer. I want to do more but having a linux system was pretty much the reason why I got bad grades last semester. I couldn't stop making LUA, conky, and java scripts lol.
I give you Dev's huge props, and I'll be trying to donate to you and the others that helped on this board to get things going. Being a college student makes it hard though but I'll send as much as I can. Thanks for your guys time and effort.

Sure that. Just wanted to say that it'll be fair to let it be stock if you are not implementing cm7 theme Chooser so anytime soon , so we get the option to flash the red theme or not for those who don't want it.
 
I installed the ROM and everything works fine but I notice that when I'm in a 4G area, my phone is ALWAYS switching back and forth to 1x. Sometimes the data even cuts off for a minute then comes back on. This didnt happen while I was on C.
 
So when i try downloading Go Launcher it sais that my phone is not compatible...

Same with SuperGNES.

I could have sworn i used both of these apps on my phone prior to using Gingersteem...

Am i right or wrong on this?

Are you downloading GO Launcher from market.android.com ?

i've changed the density setting in ROM Toolbox and that seems to have caused a few funny issues.... Specifically with my phone dialer not lining up correctly with my screen. Meaning, the numbers on the dialer will be in top left instead of centered.

I also have used in conjuction with ROM Toolbox the Esteem Optimizer. I do not know if this has caused the issue but i've wondered if the 2 apps would conflict.

I think i will do a clean install of Gingersteem and erase absolutely everything on the phone and start from scratch.

What about SuperGNES, does it say that you can download that as well?

I have a thread about this problem. If you want go to it and download the app that I mentioned at the bottom of the thread. Or of you can go to the market.apk and erase the data. I recommend doing it in titanium backup. First back it up then erase the data then reboot your phone then try downloading the same app that gave you that error.
if you decide not to download that app that I mentioned downgrade the market.apk then freeze the market update.apk then reboot your phone. The new market update is causing these errors.

Edit: here's the post of the app I was talking about that should solve you problems permanently. Btw I went ahead and bought the full version but I think the free version should work http://androidforums.com/3846689-post38.html
Also get rid off the optimizer

I just backed up market via titanium and erased data, then rebooted.

Worked like a charm. Thanks.
