Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme II for the LG Esteem MS910

Once I've downloaded this ROM how do I get my apps back without re-downloading them all from the market one by one again. Is there like a push one button in RM or ROM TB and everything is good to go??

the only way u could get ur apps back if u backed them up with titanium back up
 
Is the screen density set to normal? I can't check right now because I'm awaiting the shipment of my phone.
I'm asking because the altered screen density has caused adverse affects on my phone in the past.

Nope didn't touch it, learned that lesson which I knew better. Actually there's not really a lot done to it, deodexed, apps debloated, useless stuff like the guided tour n help center removed, and of course a custom plague kernel. ; )

GingerSteem Extreme II w/ Plague Kernel What is this? This is a lightweight ROM built both for speed and stability. This ROM is based off of the LG's ZVC update to Gingerbread. It is fully deodexed, and debloated.

How do I install this?
  • 1.) Download the .zip & copy to phone or sdcard (make sure 4g or wifi is enabled if dl'd from phone).
  • 2.) Zip can be installed from either internal or external sd in CWM
  • 3.) MAKE A BACKUP
  • 4.) WIPE DATA!!! WIPE CACHE!!! WIPE DALVIK!!!
  • 5.) Go to install zip from sdcard
  • 6.) Select GSE-C-v.02_signed.zip
  • 7.) Reboot

hmm you said something about an experimental lag free govner or something... im pretty sure i flashed this GSE II, i also did a rom factory reset by wipeing the cache and all that to get the market to work... also flashed idrifta's arctic theme.... I cant seem to find the lag free govner. its not in setcpu or romtoolbox. i couldnt find rom toolbox in my aps right before i flash the arctic theme, maybe because i did a factory reset. But my question is, how do i get the lag free govner. id love to try it out.

pretty sure its in .02 lol when I go to set it I have to scroll up.
 
I didnt see it in the log nor mentioned in other post so if I missed it my bad but I would assume this goes with out saying but this has the HDMI fix in the kernel?

lol... have been trying out your experimental lagfree govner and im only on 1.4ghz and its awesome! i have no lag... sometimes a little delay on if im on a game or maket and click home but only happened once and im on 1.4ghz, other then that its great!

any thought of adding reboot & recovery options in power menu soooon?? :D you'd be super cool if ya did lol i gave it a try and failed miserably... is there any tip you can throw me and ill give it another shot??
 
location aka weather is fixed... took me a minute, but yeah, i guess i need some sleep, ha ha. my clock/time is still way off though...
 
After installing this I restored system data from TB, just to see what it would bring back, and it replaced the wallpaper that came with this rom. Where can I find it? I've scanned for gif/jpg/png but can't find it anywhere.

Also, does Easy Battery saver come with this rom or was it brought back when I restored my apps from TB?

Last time I'll play with my phone when I can't sleep at 3:30am......zzzzzzzzz
