Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

yeah your best bet would be to flash back to stock v7 then root and unlock then flash this V3.0 then make a backup of V3.0 this time

Where can I find a stock v7 ROM? I've tried searching but can't seem to find it. This was my first flash ever of Icy Fusion and I happened to flash the version that doesn't work. Unlucky me...
 
su should work if you pressed fix root before you rebooted i deleted the symlinks and gave it permissions and removed the su from system/bin
 
Why is everyone having problems with supersu getting root permission. All I did was install supersu from the play store,give it superuser permission by opening the app,then delete superuser in system/app.

I had the problem, because upon the natural rebooting of the phone after flashing 3.5, I was given a warning that SuperSu needs an updated binary, and that the app could not do it itself. Which is what it does if you download it from market and then click on the SuperSu app after its downloaded.
 
ok i got lost in the shuffle . after reading last few post . download 3,5 or wait for 3,9 .. i do have backups of 3,0 but not of stock for some reason when i tried to restore it after 2.5 cwm gave me a error an wouldnt restore,so i deleted it to save more room on sd card for more of these roms lol

Wait for 3.9. 3.5 has some issues with it.
 
tonight it should be uploaded and ready to go, and i have a 5 day break off of school this week, so get ready for a big update, will have lots of themeing done, and tabs in the settings menu, and i will update all of the apps, add some new ones, and just make this ROM more awesome and will be V4.0 and will be released on Thursday, until then....

EDIT: Uploading V3.6 its not V3.9 anymore and new one on thursday will be V4.0.......Uploaded!!
Follow installation directions carefully for CRT off animation!!
 
I LOVE this ROM!!! I don't think I'm going to update from here on out because this one (3.6) is perfect for me. Thank you azoller1 for this ROM, you are AWESOME!!!

Yeah I tried to make 3.6 as stable as I could because I won't make an update for awhile, glad you like it!
And is everyone else doing ok on v3.6?

Yes, this is a very smooth ROM.
You might want to add the acceptance of the "Fix ROOT" prompt when installing.
I skipped it and had to button reset to flash it again and all is great now.

RECOMMENDED Tweaks in Pimp My Rom App: These are the ones i use with great performance
First get the rescue package just in case
1. Network and Internet
-wifi connect speed-might use more battery
-3g signal and speed-also might use more battery but noticeabley faster 3g
-Faster DNS-better wifi speed
-protect against SYN attacks
-Avoid wait-time
-IPv4 tweaks
2. Multitasking
-kept oom groupings at low and minfree values at medium
-zram to 64mb- 64mb is better for gaming and 128mb is better for more multitasking and less huge gaming (gameloft games)
-didnt check any of the boxes for the kernel or dalvik VM's
3. Kernel Tweaks
-check ondemand interactive and conservative (only ones we have ATM)
-checked both of I/0 tweaks or I/0 schedulers
-did not check any vsync boxes unless if you want better FPS rates
-disabled gentle and new fair sleepers but kept normalized sleepers
4. Enable/Disable Features
-on for just-in-time compiler better cpu
-can turn on force gpu rendering but i like my battery
-surface dithering off also like my battery
-turned on disable error checking seems to work good
5. Miscellaneous Tweaks
-checked all of these except for the first one on init.d tweaks, this one- optimize sqlite3 databases unchecked, and ext4 file systems will help cause lg spectrum uses ext4 file systems and I/0 tweaks seem to work fine

Havent added any of the apps/mods from the section-they should all work except for a few arent uploaded yet

So there are some tweaks that I use! Hope this helps you!
