Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

soooo close , i wonder do developers go crazy at a early age ,lol i know just about every rom out there (had just about every phone vzw has,) is a tweek away from being perfect . keeps it fun , some of u guys should get jobs at google for ur efforts . sometimes it makes me crazy an all i have to do is just sit here an download an flash .lol
 
Very impressed with battery life on 5.0. Unplugged phone this morning at 9:15AM , did a bunch of texts, some browsing, tried a couple different browsers, (currently using Dolphin), did some more texts, more browsing, attempted Wifi connection, fiddled with it some more, and at 11:00PM I was still on 50%, now to see if it lasts the night .

Alright, I decided to go back to 3.5. Volume+, power amp, miui music player wasn't working on 5.2 and that was the most recent backup I had. Sucks that I don't have the latest updates, etc... but at least I have full functionality. Hopefully everything gets sorted out in the next update. Looking forward to the next series.
 
to get ota update center support (finally got this working hopefully) open a build prop editor using rom toolbox if you want and at the bottom of it add these lines in this order

otaupdater.otaid=romid666665 (dont change this either)
otaupdater.otatime=20121128-1300 ( dont change this)
otaupdater.otaver=5.4 (wichever version you are running dont use 5.4!)

then get the app from the market OTA update center
 
version 5.4 was all messed up it was becuase of the deep sleep tweak, so i removed it and will just name the version 5.4.1
 
i have a question is there any way to make the bottom menu keys light up when u get text or any other notifications ,or any way change their color . would be great if possible ,

I saw some reviews on Pimp My ROM that said their music app (think it was Player Pro) stopped working after downloading some of the sound stuff in Pimp... You mentioned 3.5 still worked fine, was that before Pimp was added?

Nah it has pimp my rom V1.5 on here. I never actually used the pimp my rom app though. Tha being said I'm waiting for fusion v5.4.1 to see how that runs. Thanks for the response though.
 
Not quite understanding the Build.prop additions, how to. Can't seem to find property or dialog box to allow me to add new seperate entries. It seems to only allow me to add or edit existing properties. Trying with Rom Toolbox lite.
 
I should have ROM toolbox support soon and I will add the tweaks from 3.5 because they seemed to give the best battery life and will add back lg notifications for the lights to blink for notif. and will try to add stock jb fonts and some other things

I did the exact steps above using Rom toolbox Pro and was successful, however when i search for an update it comes back with the following error message: "Invalid ROM(romid666665) & device (i_vzw) combo!

Is it possible that we just need the numbers for the OTAID and no romid?
