I think what the user is trying to say is that he is a Chinese user who is installing this ROM oh his cell phone. He is unable to call the Chinese equivalent of 911. Which would be 110, 112, 120, and 119. I know for Belgium 100 is Police, 101 is Fire Rescue, and 112 is cell phone emergency.

@138831: Do you have any cellphone signal?
 
There are a few Chinese Roms for this phone, I used them to discover apps to remove from stock v4 and v6, back when we only had BO and BP Roms.

You probably need to merge some things from them in to this Rom to get everything working.

That requires the 4.2 camera. So far, nobody has been able to get it to do anything besides force close. Most likely(I'm not an expert on this so if I'm wrong correct me), it's because it requires certain libraries and/or drivers from the nexus 4 that don't exist for our phone. It might happen but it probably won't happen without a functional 4.2.x build for the spectrum. And even then it might be a longshot.
 
Well BT does not work on this ROM yet I have been lazy I will try and fix it tonight on this ROM but on the cm10 and aokp41 ROMs they have BT working
 
Hows the progress on the bluetooth? I have Ford Sync and going crazy not being able to connect my phone :( Keep up the amazing work!
 
I'll try to fix it sometime but I kind of discontinued this ROM and moved on to the cm10 ROM and the nexus 7 (much easier to develop for)
 
Hi, god of spectrum--
1. rooted my spectrum

2. Tried to unlock bootloader by
[Updated 11-20-12][BOOTLOADER][Windows][VS920]Bootloader Pwnage Tool for the LG Spectrum 4G
but failed to load md5sum at last step twice(dont know the reason)

3. Installed icy fusion 2.0 (currently running)after making back up with cwm 6 of stock ics-4.0-ZV7(received by ota update) though cwm was installed manually i.e. not from market.
when going back to stock it cant load and shows "md5sum failed"

Im not a great teachie and i m from India and did all these to unlock the gsm/cdma capabilities of my mobile for using it here, but all attempt went in vein
Now want to relock( i don't know wether it was unlocked or not but bluetooth did not working) bootloader to make bluetooth working again and going back to stock ics 4.0

Any help about using it on gsm or cdma(in india) will make me rock again because i imported this stuff with my 7 months pocket savings which is very hard for me.
Any help will be appreciated and highly praised. Thanks in advance''''

No one has had any success making it a global phone. So none of the custom roms are going to give you that ability.

If you want ot return to full stock with a locked bootloader again then go here http://rootzwiki.com/topic/17823-flashing-lg-signed-firmware/
 
Feel free to use my kernel in this. All I ask is that you say where you got it from and link to the kernel thread so people have a link to the source code.

Looking forward to it. My wife is using my spectrum now and plays lots of games. Unfortunately, it's running CM10 right now and we know how it gets along with games. That and she thinks it would be cool to use a kernel made by her husband.
