Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

I was just on a call and was having trouble hearing them. I haven't ever had an issue with in call volume like others have, but have noticed it over the last 2 days, basically since I flashed this. I told them I'd call them back, restored my nandroid, and could hear them just fine. I know you thought beats was causing issues, but seems to still be a problem.
 
With the next update would it be possible to include the stock email app, and the clock. Any way of getting circles back to work? Thanks for your hard work. This ROM looks awesome and is currently my daily driver (v2.5)

It probably has to do with the init.d tweak or build prop tweak I'll test those out to see
 
I am also having call volume problems with both 2.0 and 2.5. I tried wiping and reflashing 2.5 and I'm still having the same problem. On a maybe related note, I lost my headphone button functionality for Pocketcast on ICS. 2.0 restored that functionality, but then 2.5 broke it again. Is it possible that Beats Audio fixed the headphone button functionality? If it isn't what is affecting call volume, would it be possible to add Beats back in? Thank you for your hard work. I am loving this ROM.
 
Loving this ROM as well, the only problem I have is with the low call volume. I had about 5 or 6 reboots on the first day I flashed it but only 1 since. Good work, thank you!!!

low volume is still an isssue here as welll but ,it seems better than V2.0 was
 
I continue to get the "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped." error whenever I try to use the phone or check my google voice voicemail. Clearing data for Contacts and Contacts Storage temporarily resolves the issue, but as soon as my voicemail notification icon comes back the error returns as well. Running Icy Fusion 2.5
 
did make an update that fixed some of the issues with some more aosp apps but it seems that the LGphone apk wont work anymore with all of the aosp apps, will see what i can tomorrow running out of ideas today, will see if i get some new ideas tomorrow:)

Other than the fact I completely missed it, I can't add an exchange account. I didn't see it in V2.0 and didn't look for it anymore in V2.5 Circles is still broken in 2.5 though using homescreen. Is there a fix for this? Also flashing the APK for CRT animation using Rom toolbox didn't work. Any instructions on how I can add it? I did allow install from non market apps
 
you can flash this if you want but it has quite a bit of fc'ing so you cant really do anything except for just looking at the awesome crt animation but you can flash this if you want just make sure you have a BACKUP!! becuase you will want to restore and i will look into it a little more tomorrow.

I'm coming from a gingerbread ROM, Broken Out or Eclipse, I forget which. As it is, I can't take the OTA without the phone breaking itself and landing in CWM where it's stuck until I reflash. Side note: my CWM must not work properly either because all of my backups have dates from 1970 and fail to restore.

What's the best way to get from a custom GB ROM to your latest ROM?
 
well you can try to wipe everything from V6 and flash this or you have to be fully stock which means no root or no CWM and then you can take the ota update but i recommend taking the update with the LG upgrade tool becuase it works better than the ota update.

I've been using 2.5 since it came out, and all of my GPS functions work really well. In fact the rom is fast and smooth. Also, it is possible to use the Moto launcher and its triple clock, date, etc. as long as after any reboot, one goes into File Manager System/Apps and reloads the Launcher. That may be a pain to some, but it is a great launcher so.....
