Root [ROM/Kernel] Stock++

So I installed this & everything worked fine until out of no where my music player & YouTube videos were breaking up? & it's not my Wifi because after I flashed back it worked fine my phone also did a random reboot in the middle of the night so that also made me go back to regular stock but if there's a way to work that out someone let me know!

Okay so I tried flashing the OCkernel posted in the CM7 thread over this one. To get rid of the triangle. And it boots, but my 3g never comes on ... why? :(

So i have a question. What do i need to have both Admiral beast working and to be able to overclock my phone to 900mhz?

I have been following this forum for a week now and Im certain that i want it, but i also want Admiral Beast still on my phone. So what I'm asking is, step by step for it too work and not brick.

Flash Stock++, mount system, and flash Admiral Beast. Should be all you need to do.

Because the CM7 kernel has init scripts for CM7, not for Stock. Two different versions of Android, two different init scripts. And init scripts are located in the kernel image...so...yeah...

Thank you Req0

I tried that but everytime i do Stock++ and then mount system, it says...

E:/Can't mount cache
E:/Can't Open Cache
E:Can't mount Cache
E:/Can't Open Cache...

I might be missing some info that continues after "Can't mount or open Cache" but i did try it the way you said too. Should i flash the CWM/ Kernel?

Also req whats wrong with the su binary anyway? You lose root access/ or scripts dont show up well.. not that i care.. since all you do is flash a 2.1-4.0.3 binary..
Then update the binary again on superuser app.

Shouldn't be at the SCH-R720 screen for more than a minute. Boot animation should have kicked in by now. Try flashing again.

I tried to do that four times in the past two days... I am using CWM 5.0.2.7... Not your Cwm or Kernel... I might have to flash your cwm & kernel...

I just thought of that... I hope i get it right... I want 900mhz

Thank you, btw Req0

lol you definitely need my CWM and Kernel package...that's why it was in the instructions...

Lol that's why I asked you if I should flash your cwm & kernel. But you said flash stock++ and mount system, then flash Admiral beast. Lol I think we both got confused.

Glad to say after I flashed everything it booted but now it wont let me install any apps. It keeps saying package file is invalid, what? I'm confused now because I have never got that may before. Anyway to fix that?

Boot into CWM and wipe cache, then reboot.
