Root [ROM/Kernel] Stock++

Is there a different download link for this? Mediafire won't work for me on the phone, won't get a new laptop till Monday.. Anyone have this on 4shared?

No I tried and It didn't fix it. thanks anyway I couldn't Figure it out. I just
Gave up and reflashed it all. Plus I get to put paris's Carbon on it now.:rolleyes:

Setcpu cost money, can't buy atm, and the 2 app that's are similar to to that are free when I click download I get some error. It's not the playstore can download other apps

I want to try this again....
I follow the instructions Flash my CWM Recovery and Kernel package, then go to Advanced->Reboot recovery..
Install the latest version of Stock++.
I did exactly that and something always screws up. I'm at some black screen for 30 minutes until I removed the battery and I'm at a stock like phone that can't do anything... eventually the phone vibrates and powers off. I don't see why this is happening, your instructions are simple. New cmw, then flash stock++ yet my second attempt still ended up in failure. Am I missing something?

Are you wiping data and system and cache before installing stock, but after flashing cwm
 
Of course always wipe for new roms. But Shall try again today. So Install new cmw, then wipe, install stock++ stuff, then I install one of the other roms like lunar or monster?

Edit: Wait, if I flash stock++ isn't that part a rom? So If I flash lunar or monster, I'll have to wipe again won't I?

You say it's stock? I'm a noob but I rooted, debloated a bit, then I installed Stock++ with no problems, But Appstore, Mymetro and Easywifi is missing and I did not remove them? Other than that everything is working fine. A'm I missing something?

I installed the 2.3.6 simple update from samsung
one step Rooted ( Just In Case I Lost root)
reflashed 5.0.2.7 CWM
Installed reqs 5.0.2.8 CWM and Stock ++ Kernel
Then Installed paris "carbon" theme
Did Nanoid backup and had no errors.
Took about half a hour max.

what version (like exactly) of gapps should i flash to fix market errors. the link to the gapps.zip has a whole bunch :S

Because I've tried that.. fixed the data/market/mms but I don't wanna do all that. I just want to update to 2.3.6 (I'm using Metro PCS)
Will this SimpleDL help me out?
 
Loving the OC Kernal + M4 with a few personal touches
+1 for this release. Now can't wait for your CM7 this will do just fine until then =)

I'd Have to say if your phone is on 2.3.4 just stay on that os version.
2.3.6 was halted by samsung on the Admire. it wasn;t a great change
over stock anyway.

OK I've had this installed and it seems it wont let me connect to unsecured wifi..

it will connect but there's no data coming from the wiFI to my phone...

PLEASE give stern by step of what to wipe when reflashing I don't wanna lose any data... but I need to fix this wifi issue

I have an issue. It seems that my mags quit working. I can text some people but most people Dont receive them. I don't know what is going on. I reflashed my phone to just stock++ and now I can't even get updates toqok or to even download. Like wtf!

Can you help me.

Hi,

I've recently flashed my Admire to the CM7.2, and it's working more or less, but I can't stand not having GPS, and would like to try Stock++.

After flashing CM7.2 & gapps, though, I flashed the OC Kernel. Do I need to do anything in particular to make sure that's overwritten by another kernel?

I had just planned on booting to recovery, formatting system, data, and cache, and then proceeding with flashing to Stock++ -- but should I reinstall the plain admire-cwm-tar first, using Odin? I do think that the CWM which is in "CM72RC1-Beta1-KernelCWM-requisite0" is different from the admire-CWM, right?

You don't need to use Odin anymore Odin is to get CWM on your phone... everything else is flashable through zip's... stock++ has a zip file the OC kernel is flashable... look around for the ones you need... I have them all in my dropbox... basically its very easy after cwm is on the phone...
