Phew,okay. It's been a while, been busy guys! Sorry! Now, lets see...
Wifi tethering works fine for me ^_^ I actually use it for my 3DS lol. Online play while out? OH YES!
TMake sure you select generic ics and routing fix in the options!
Yes, there are sometimes random reboots, but that is because of overclocking and the anthrax kernel. I am currently running 3.2.2r and I have not had one reboot whatsoever ^_^
Fastcharge is usually used for connections using USB, like, while hooked up to your computer. It just, well, makes it charge faster lol. It doesn't have any difference when you plug your phone into the wall adaptor
HQ Audio mods are basically built into the kernel. Better bitrate's and all that. There's not THAT much difference, but there is a difference lol.
Power saving mods - Yup! Phone clocks down when the screen is off and auto turns off one of the cores to save juice.
Increased audio and gpu buffer - built into the kernel
SD card cache speed tweaks - Built into the post.boot scripts
GPU rendering tweaks - Forces gpu rendering of everything
CPU tweaks - Clock step up tweaks, built into the post.boot
Misc build.prop tweaks - Well...look for yourself! lol. The original build.prop (stock) and the build.prop in my rom are majorly different!

I've been on calls for hours with no problems. Played games (3D ones), streamed videos, etc etc, with no problems, but it will randomly crash at times. It's a crap shoot, but like I said, one reboot every blue moon for the fastest rom there is for the Evo V 4G? ^_^ Not too shabby. I have to commend chad over at the anthrax forums for his hard work on the kernel. He's done a tremendous job on it!

Hm, it works for me. Have you upgraded the kernel through the anthrax forums? I updated mine a few days ago with a build and this happened. Try flashing 3.2.2r, or wait for the next update to finish uploading!

This is truly something like a drug for me, but I am totally inexperienced, and lost alot but it's still fun. I have a question tho, after downloading this rom which is very nice, a very cool rom. I downloaded a root checker which said I wasn't rooted. Funny thing is I know I'm rooted cause I followed sandman's guide to rooting and used the same root checker and it said root verified I also downloaded and have been using meanrom until I downloaded midnight and meanrom is cool nice also. I'm still running midnight right now. Um I tried to install TB with this rom but it wouldn't get root access.I did a davik, cache factory wipe then used 4EXT to install the rom, then I installed superuser from zip, I'm s-on and never touched my h-boot and I don't know what to do but super su but it also won't install on my evo v either, heres my screenshots of my root checker currently.
Will someone please instruct me on what to do please, regardless rooting is now one of my favorite pastimes, I'm going to school for it starting Monday I can hardly wait, thanks in advance.

OKAY I JUST DID A FRESH REINSTAL AND THIS TIME I WIPED/FORMATTED MY SYSTEM DATA ALSO AND NOTICED THAT TITANIUM BACKUP THAT'S PREINSTALLED GAINS ROOT ACESS I WILL TRY TO DOWNLOAD PRO (SINCE I ALREADY PAID) FOR IT AND SUPER SU BACK FROM THE MARKET AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

I apologize that must have been it, you have to wipe system data along with the cache and davik and it seems best to instal the rom before superuser too. Sorry to bother yall but thanks anyway great rom.
You have to put the .mp3 file in system/customize/resource and name it "BoltAnimations.mp3" for it to work correctly!where do you put a sound file for a boot animation?... do I need to change something before this works? I have put it in the same folder as my boot animation. but the boot animation starts up and no sound. I did rename the file to android_audio.mp3.. no luck

? If you're talking about kernel then I have no idea lol. I havn't tried it yet. It MAY be compatiable, but I'm not 100% sure...plus, why would you? ^_^ This rom is optimized for anthrax ^_^
The kernel is still being worked on. It isn't fully 100% stable, but hey, one reboot every once in a while for the best performance for this phone? Not too shabby if I do say so myself ^_^
Every new version of the kernel helps with reboot problems just a bit more! It is a beta kernel, but the reboots keep getting less and less. And even if it does, the phone restarts pretty fast!

I'm running MignightROM... I recently purchased the HTC Car Dock. When I plug my phone in, it says car mode enabled in my notifications bar. But I remember using a Google Car Home screen thing on other ROMs. Is this removed, and how can I get it back?

NEVERMIND... found the appropriate APK for CARHOME and installed it in SYSTEM\APP . Now my Car Mode works.
Maybe you could include Googles CAR HOME in your future versions? It CAN NOT be downloaded via Google Play [says incompatible device]

Just installing the 3.2.2r kernel on 1.2.1 fixed all of my probs so far... Seems like 3.2.1 was pretty bugged up be reports on the Anthrax Forum... Most are having really good luck with the new one.
Also I'd you install only the kernel you can set all the options yourself.

OK so I'm not really sure, what the problem is. Goo told me there was an update I started the download, came back it was gone and now goo isn't working. Can you post a manual link for the update.b I've tried uninstall goo and reinstall that doesn't work. It won't find updates and says it can't find files when I view compatible.. oh and thank you for adding a change log that helped a lot keep up the great work we all appreciate it.

Ah OK tyvm I'm itching for the update lol. BTW does anybody else have an issue with multi touch in games? For example when playing Nova 3 sometimes my left stick becomes glitched and I have to lock then unlocked my phone to fix it. Many games do this to me. Any help would be awesome.

So I flashed the latest rom and my wifi only shows error and 4G won't turn on. I've tried a clean flash (wipe system,data,cache,delvik-cache,boot) and was still doing the same thing. I have s-off and used 4ext recovery. I think the kernel might be the problem but can someone please send me the kernel 3.2.2r file in a direct .zip link? I signed up for the anthrax-kernels forum but they still won't give me enough privilege to look at the thread "Anthrax Development - Home of the first custom shooter ICS kernel" :/ Thank you very much!
If you haven't done it already, try reflashing again and I'd make sure the download is clean. The Anthrax mods are slow with forum approvals, hang in there. That said I'm not certain posting the files outside their forum is allowed.

First off, thanks to our ROM author - this is a very nicely done ROM. I'm using a virgin mobile evo 3d - PG86100 revision 2 - with the S-on (because I've never decided to pry the phone apart and try going to s-off with the wire) and flashing with 4ext.
I've briefly used the stock rom, used Harmonia and Harmonia plus the Anthrax kernels, Negalite, MeanICS and now I'm using Midnight 1.2.2 - of the bunch, I'm liking it the best. Full camera support, very tweakable init.qcom. script, overclockable and - most important to me - undervoltable.
What I've found is that for my setup, the 3.2.0 and later Anthrax kernels has a tendency to wake up rather poorly - they'll work for a long time, then when I try to unlock, the display will be available for only brief periods of time, then go dark. It can take a few minutes to get the display lit long enough to force a shutdown.
when this happened last night with Midnight, I flashed the CDMA_Anthrax_shooter-3.1.9.zip and left the rest of the rom in place. So far, so good -- I haven't yet had the phone act squirrely when trying to wake up, it can even use Tune In as an alarm (which has been a challenge due to the deep sleep.)
When I flashed, I chose the highest available clock for the max sleep clock - my thinking being that normally when asleep it would run slow, but that getting Tunein to start with the screen off maybe needed a bit of a goose.
I really like this rom - Negalite is very nice but I didn't want Google Now and some of the Leedroid tweaks didn't seem to work well with it. What Negalite has that's excellent is a very well-commented init.qcom.post_boot.sh script. Definitely worth a look at some of what can be modified with that, although SetCPU or System Tuner Pro can also be valuable.
One thing that's interesting in this release -- the 3.1.9 (and I thought, but I'm not 100%) the 3.2.0 and later Anthrax kernels put zram and scsi controls into /etc/init.d and I didn't see those populate until I flashed 3.1.9 on its own. Am I mistaken there?
I'm getting good battery life using a fairly aggressive undervolting (-87.5 mvolt) and keeping the clock running at 1100 mhz as the max when unplugged, the lagfree governor, and the loopysmoothness tweaks.
For me, the wifi and 4g antennas are working fine. If you're seeing issues, it may be worth updating your profile and PRL after flashing? I know I often need to do that after changing out a kernel.

The kernels are meant to be downloaded directly from the anthrax site, no links or mirroring unless you have Chads approval on a case by case basis. That's why they're all labeled as private.

All that's left is for you to make your first post in the introduction forum and after one of the mods sees it you'll get download privelages. Then you'll be on probation for 5 days and 5 posts before you can post without mod approval. With all that Chads been through these rules are to try and keep the drama to a minimum.
