Because you're installing files into the system folders, they get overwritten when you flash a new/updated rom. You will need to reinstall all files or reflash the google now zips.

I was having a similar issue, although I had originally named my SSID "Mobile Network". This caused an "Other Network" SSID to display on my computer's connections list which I was not able to connect to. After removing the space, renaming the SSID to "MobileNetwork" everything worked great.
Leedroid tweaks will do that for youinstalled midnight rom on evo v; works great! thanks. but is it possible to have long press volume buttons to skip track? Im coming from cyanogen and really miss this feature. is it just cyanogen that has this? thanks again.
great! but Im going to wait a little more. I just put on midnight rom after rooting, and it was a frustrating experience lol. leedroid requires s-off, and in order to soff with controlbear I need to have stock rom. And stock rom download link in the forums dont work right now... I just installed tactile player app; not great but gets the job done for now. will attempt to flash stock rom, soff, and leedroid soon!
dont do s-off on stock roms either it is known to cause boot loopsLeeDroid doesn't require s-off. This ROM comes with it and it works fine s-on. also, you don't need to be on the stock ROM to do the s-off procedure. I believe it only needs to be stock based. I did mine on meanROM

Hello everyone I am getting my feet wet with rooting and having a blast with it. This is truly something like a drug for me, but I am totally inexperienced, and lost alot but it's still fun. I have a question tho, after downloading this rom which is very nice, a very cool rom. I downloaded a root checker which said I wasn't rooted. Funny thing is I know I'm rooted cause I followed sandman's guide to rooting and used the same root checker and it said root verified I also downloaded and have been using meanrom until I downloaded midnight and meanrom is cool nice also. I'm still running midnight right now. Um I tried to install TB with this rom but it wouldn't get root access.I did a davik, cache factory wipe then used 4EXT to install the rom, then I installed superuser from zip, I'm s-on and never touched my h-boot and I don't know what to do but super su but it also won't install on my evo v either, heres my screenshots of my root checker currently.
Will someone please instruct me on what to do please, regardless rooting is now one of my favorite pastimes, I'm going to school for it starting Monday I can hardly wait, thanks in advance.
somebody hellllllllllllp!!!!!<---this might B my signature.
UPDATE!!!!
OKAY I JUST DID A FRESH REINSTAL AND THIS TIME I WIPED/FORMATTED MY SYSTEM DATA ALSO AND NOTICED THAT TITANIUM BACKUP THAT'S PREINSTALLED GAINS ROOT ACESS I WILL TRY TO DOWNLOAD PRO (SINCE I ALREADY PAID) FOR IT AND SUPER SU BACK FROM THE MARKET AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
1.2.1 restarts about once a day for me....considering to go back to 1.1.7 - rarely if ever had that issue on that version. maybe it's the kernel?
Try upgrading it to 3.2.2

I don't think most of the features of this Rom have doesn't work I don't know its me I think it is lol but like the dual core mod or ril tweaks and the other things doesn't seem its on the Rom
Dual core mod isn't because that's handled by the kernel. Everything else is. look at the code if you don't believe him. Do you have any evidence or you just making up stuff your the sake of it
