Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

This is the first ROM that I've installed that Google Now ZIP... Really impressive. Went biking and left my phone in the car... when I went to leave a Google Now card showed up telling my my distance and traffic to get home. Sports scores card is pretty sweet too.

I used Root Explorer to copy the the text in build.prop and moved it to my SD card so I could edit it in WordPad. (I had a previous build.prop file that I just overwrote.)

Install BusyBox. Open it and actually click "install". Busybox is preinstalled

Download Dual-Core Mod, EXT 4 Tweaks, and GPU Rendering, flash the zips in recovery. Don't forget to clear cache and Dalvik.
Duel-core mod isn't needed anymore as the kernel automatically handles it. EXT4 and GPU rendering have already been built in

New version being uploaded ^_^ Should be up by tonight

When anyone flashes the new version, let us know how it is... 1.2.0 is working awesome. Quadrant score of 3200 out of the box... (Not even on a fresh boot). Totally happy with my performance and stability.

I'm on 1.2.0 I'm having evdo signal and 4g disappear on the settings...?
Why did this happen ? And also 1.2.1 would fix this problem

Weird. I got the most FPS I've ever seen (83) in Quadrant, but I'm only scoring 2800-3600.

AnTuTu score plummeted to 5488.

Linpack Single Thread 51-52, Multi-Thread 79-84.

Confirmed that tweaks are all already added, thanks xthedakmanx.

Dalvik + cache wipnans all is well. Great work! It keeps getting better and better.

Could we get a circle battery mod like the request from Page one of this forum? I think its readability is so much better.

Having a Wifi issue. Continues to tell me "ERROR", and will not initialize. This is on the latest update. I will do the ADB method of rebooting into recovery vs the onboard GooManager, as that seemed to cause an issue. Will report back if it's fixed.

That seemed to fix it. The GooManager recovery that it downloads does NOT properly wipe the cache or factory reset, and caused Wifi to error. I still recommend the ADB method.

What's the recommended CPU speed for the best performance with no random reboots? I know a lot of it varies by phone but where are you guys set for the most stability?

I ask the same too but you can try it my setting if it suits you or you can change the governor and the CPU you want

This happened to me as well. Are you S-On and using 4ext? If so, make sure the "SmartFlash" feature is enabled and then reflash. It will fix your issue.
