It sounds like you didn't fully wipe your phone before flashing the ROM. boot back into recovery, wipe all partitions except for sd card, and then flash the ROM again. That should fix your problem

Did wipe and tried different recovery (was using amon ra then tried clockwork and says,
E:Error in /sdcard/MidnightRom130.zip
(Status 0)Installation aborted.

I just got a notification for a rom update, do i need to treat this like a new install, or is it just that an update?

I think you should at least wipe dalvik and cache before flashing a new ROM version over the old one. Thats what I do anyway.

Well that part I do as well. That should be standard practice whenever you flash any sort of update like a kernel or rom or make any changes to system files. I just mean I haven't been doing full wipes.

Yeah I don't do full wipes either when installing an updated ROM. Too much of a hassle to get all your apps and games back every time. Wiping cache and dalvik seems to work just fine for me. Its a different story when flashing an entirely different ROM though. That's a situation when a full wipe is pretty much required.

I finally took the time to clear enough room on my SD card to use Titanium Backup and update from Midnight 1.1.2. Thanks for your hard work! =)

I'm having a problem on the newest version. I did a fill wipe also. When I set my phone down from using it and say 10 min later wake it up it seems real slow to respond. Like lag. Is anyone else having this issue? Everything else seems to be functioning great so far. Can someone help with this issue? Thanks

Reverted back to my backup 1.2.7 due to the problem I was having on 1.3.0 I will try the next version that is released. Everything else seemed to work fine besides the problem I stated above which is a big issue for me.

Anyone having trouble watching videos (recordings from your evo)? I haven't had any problems until this version, could somebody help me out? TY.

I just watched some videos that I took before I flashed and they played fine...

Yeah I don't know what the deal is I used to just go to my gallery and select which video I wanted to see but now the vid will play for about 1 sec and pause the sound will still play but the gray box will appear and say unfortunately view video has stopped. :(

Benchmarks anyone? I'm running midnight 1.2.9 with anthrax 3.4.5, performance governor oc to 1.7, cfq i/o, max 2d and 3d, vsync off, zram on

The stock music player is broken on mine for some reason. It will not start a song with the headphones (says file type not recognized). Then I unplug them and the song will start. I try to plug them back in and the music player force closes. PowerAmp and Winamp run just fine.

Same as me forgot to mention that earlier

in the next release, is there a way to increase the usb charging current draw? I just got a msg, your phone is using more more current than its charging.

New version is up.
