Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

Kernel tuner is newest version only. Sweep2wake is a program that allows you to wake the phone from sleep by sweeping your finger across the row of softkeys thereby saving you from pressing the power button repeatedly. Usually you can put the phone to sleep by sweeping the opposite way but that doesn't seem to be working atm.

Hm, just tested it. Works for me.

It doesn't work on the lock screen though, if that's what you're experiencing, but that's normal.

To unlock: Swipe from home to search
To lock: Swipe from search to home

(Way this works is the kernel's clock is set to 1.7 ghz by default, which means that the second the phone boots, it clocks to 1.7. What the post boot script does is it sets it at 1.29 ghz when the phone starts kind of...over riding the kernel, allowing for personal overclocking up to what the kernel is set to (1.7ghz))
-Removed some postboot scripts
-Fixed Google Maps
-Removed NoFrills cpu (use kernel tuner)
-Updated kernel tuner to 2.3.1

I have both cores set to 1.5GHz and the governor set to interactive. But when I did the test it was set to performance.
 
I put this on my phone and then did the "fix everything" but my 3g speeds are still terrible not even 100kbs, and when my 4g works i get between 8-12mbps but my videos are still buffering some reason. also the speaker doesnt work during calls for some reason. and last but not least sometimes when i unlock the screen the white htc pops up for a sec then my home screens reload
 
Sweep2wake isnt working for me even when I'm on my home screen. I'm assuming that it is meant to swipe backwards from the search softkey to the home softkey, all it does is bring up my google search. I have a rom on my evo 3d right now that has the sweep2wake working correctly but I'd rather use your rom :)

Has 2Gig on card now and tried it right after partition. Tried a different recovery also but use Amon-ra 2.3

Hey xthedakmanx i donated a couple bucks for your work on this rom. BTW I know what the "dak" in your username is short for now lol. But I was wondering if you plan on implementing universal beats audio in your rom so that my sound would be enhanced on all apps, because that is a feature that would be really nice. I would like to say thanks again for your hard work on the rom. It has made my phone so much better.

I am interested in this also. Would be wonderful if Beats was applied for Pandora and Spotify. I also wonder why I never get an icon for Beats being on.
 
I get the beats option in my notification bar as soon as I plug my headphones in, it gives me the option to enable or disable it right from the notification bar.
Just received my set of Tours today, what a major difference even compared to my favorite pair of Sennheisers. I'm a happy camper. This is by far the best sounding phone that I have ever owned. I've even retired my Cowen and Creative mp3 players and upgraded to a SanDisk 64 gb class 10 for all of my media.

If you press the menu button in the app, you should be able to find an apply on boot setting. I too, however, have had issues getting the settings to stick.

Yeah I did select that have tried init.d and after bootup. The settings seem to set but then return to default after the phone sleeps. strange. :confused:
