Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

Specifically how it works ? Cuz just found sweep2wake under misc tweaks

put your finger on the Home button and swipe across the buttons to the Seach one to wakeup the phone. Do the opposite to put the phone to sleep, but you have to pause on the Search button for a moment I have found.

i just figured it had somthing to do with the rom since when i select the front camera option it just shows what the front camera sees upside down and backwards. when it happened i tried a full wipe and reinstalled the rom. im going to try it again but downgrade the rom to see if that works.
my phone is also unlocked and s-off.

This ROM is the closest to perfect that I have ever used and I have been a flashaholic since my Optimus V days. Great job xthedakmanx! Some things I would like to see baked in that would be just icing on the cake:

4g hack - http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-all-things-root/617199-mod-4g-hack.html

Just a suggestion. I know we can easily install these things ourselves but it would be so sweet to just flash Midnight and be completely set up and ready to go.

Keep up the great work! :smokingsomb:

I had a weird problem with 1.3.2 after installing it today. I wiped the cache/Dalvik, applied the update, and everything worked fine as usual. However the battery consumption went through the roof- it was almost dead within 4 hours. I put it on the charger and rebooted, and it got stuck on the red & black pulsating Beats logo.

I flushed the cache & Dalvik, reflashed 1.3.2, did a full wipe and reflashed again, no change. It kept hanging at the same point. I reverted to 1.3.11, and all is well again.

Does anyone know what might have happened? It's especially strange that it worked fine for most of the day before it decided not to boot anymore.

Odd. How high are you OC'd?

How is the new update? I haven't touched it because i saw no drastic changes, and the previous rom was running fantastic for me. I do have a question however, what does Beats audio do? Fine tune the audio or something?

Are you using a case that might be blocking the echo cancellation mike? That's sometimes an issue especially when using speaker phone.

Nope. No case. For some people the echo is worse than others. Could I have a phone with a faulty mic? It seems that no one else is experiencing this problem...

Your battery problem may be Kernel Tuner. Try updating to 2.3.2. I have it posted on this forum. I have no battery issues with it.

Where's the home button on the new browser, I see there's a newer "save for offline reading" feature which is cool but the home button is crucial, where did it go?

It doesn't, the only thing it has is the option to change how many columns are in the app drawer. Not the home screen

So is there no way to flash rosie 4x5 for the home screen? Could I use another launcher maybe? I don't care much for the Sense Leedroid tweaks so if I could use 4x5 and forgo those tweaks I wouldn't mind.

Also one thing that keeps driving me crazy is that Kernel Tuner refuses to leave SWEEP2WAKE enabled after a reboot. What's the point in having the option if you have to set it each time you reboot?

When I try to update my profile, I've been getting "The profile could not be completed" blah blah blah Error code 1012. This has only been happening since I flashed 1.3.2.
