Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

Has anyone used Gnow Handlebars for this ROM? I use Gnow a lot on JB AOKP, but I kind of want to come back to Sense.

First-time flash 1.3.9 onto a stock ROM S-OFF. First flashed new firmware upgrade from Sprint/VM. Initial impressions, very impressed overall. Have had some bugs though:

WiFi not turning off (especially upon coming out of sleep, had to eventually pull battery)
Had one random crash (happened after changing both governors to xondemand in kernel tuner)
Bluetooth lost phone connection with Uconnect on Dodge vehicle (was set to pair with my stock phone at first, deleted old settings and initiated pairing again with no issues)

What works/works better now than on stock:
Bluetooth on VOIP applications (Viber=airtime free calls!)
More stable 3G signal (could be firmware update, but didn't work this good on stock alone)
Like AT&T used to say "more bars in more places"
Phone is WAY faster

Overall I'm happy, but the WiFi freezes are getting to be a pain in the ass. I had same issue with WiFi when I flashed CM7 on my Nook Tablet when coming out of sleep. Debating on update, but I might hold off. I have to let phone charge anyways before flashing. Keep up the good work, man!

1.4, just finished restoring apps with titanium from full wipe. So far so good.

Gnow v2 still works great.

Any plans to cook Gnow into the rom?

What recovery are you on, along with hboot and s-on or s-off?

Edit: even tried with 4ext and no avail. I'll try again and call it a night..

I did the "turn your phone into an evo3d" then it's been midnight roms after that.

So, what ever that gives you is what I'm on.

But, s-off, I know that much.

Also, can't update gmail or wifi analyzer due to "Update for 'Gmail' could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-5:AEC-0])"

Same error for wifi analyzer.

Is anyone having issues installing and booting?

No problem booting but after wiping everything but sd and installing it twice even though I was connected to my router I had no data, 3G and 4G worked fine, also tried installing Kaspersky from Titanium and a fresh install and the app just sits there with a toast telling me that it's starting but never does. Went back to 1.39 for now. I know that it's not a kernel issue because I've been using Buttered Toast with Negalite without any problems with wifi or Kapersky.

Yea i just relized oddly enough it worked on 157.57

Nice. That's why I could install with no issues and no bootloops. I'm probably one of the few with S-OFF on my phone and stock HBOOT 1.57.0000 (may go back to J-Bear Hboot 1.57.5757 though). So far this rom is actually very smooth and less bugs than 1.3.9 (especially the WiFi freezes), just make sure you have an Hboot installed that plays nice with it. Just not sure if you could flash back to your preferred Hboot version after.
