Im using LauncherPro with this Rom and love it. The only thing you'll lose are the Sense widgets but that's the case with all Sense Roms and LP. Every thing else is golden.

Keep in mind that every time I've done it, I had to re-apply all of my widgets in Launcher pro. Also, be careful leaving yourself with only one launcher option, especially one that is uninstallable (if not put in /system/app). You don't want to accidentally uninstall launcher pro, leaving yourself without a launcher.

It just removes the sense launcher so that it doesn't potentially run in the background or waste space. If you use a different launcher and never switch to sense, you may as well get rid of it. But heed my warning about leaving yourself with only one launcher that is uninstallable.

The drop I had on Myn's RLS 4 was with the old radio/pri 1.77 and before 3.70. I just updated to the new radios and 3.70 with Mik's.

mik has included the wireles tether hack. but it has some issues, well all roms running this hack have the same issue. you can not tether over 4g and when the wireless hotspot is enabled 4g will run at 3g speeds.
mik doesn't include it but you can download the wireless tether app from the market and tether over 4g.
i don't really tether much so i can't speak from experience if this is 100% accurate but from what i read there are a few issues that come with the hack. sorry i don't have a link right now, but i'm sure you can find it if you search xda.
Got it. So you never used RLS5? There was probably something else wrong there. At this point, I'm sure it's unrelated to any battery drain now. Still check spare parts, just to see, but like I said, if you have a lot of things syncing all night, that could be it.

I'm going to start over to test something. Before I upgraded the radios and PRI to 1.9 with this rom, my battery barely moved when using. After I updated the radios, basically all my widgets disappeared and the battery life was awful. I'm talking dropping 5% within 1 minute of no use. Checked the battery stats and it is sleeping so I don't know what the deal is.

So here's something I just noticed and its just a cosmetic issue. Whenever I lock my screen and then unlock via the power button it only shows the right side of my wallpaper. I changed the wallpaper to something else and it still does the same thing. I then disabled wallpaper scrolling in Luncherpro but still no luck. Any ideas?
Mine does that too if I turn the screen off while on one of the end screens, then turn the screen off. I can get it to re-center by scrolling back to the center, then turn the screen off. I think it's designed to work that way. Is that not working? Sounds more like a launcherpro issue than a problem with the rom.

Wasn't sure where to post it, lol. It would do it regardless of which screen I was on when I locked it. I just rebooted the phone and everything is back to normal.

My stepkids connect with my evo using the hacked sprint hotspot and they say it works great on 3g. Mik said in his thread that the hacked sprint hotspot running on 3g is way faster then the wireless teather form the market running on 4g, like I said the hacked sprint hotspot works great for me (only 2 devices can connect) but what the heck your saving $30 a mth

And I have never butt dialed anyone lol

interesting, good to know.
Not sure as i have nothing to compare it to, thats the first widget I ever downloaded as the lock screen bothered me.

I read somewhere that depending on the setting it doesn't let the phone sleep?
What does your network usage look like? That still seems like a large drain, but it could be that you have a lot syncing all night. What does your awake time look like if you go to menu->settings->about phone->battery. Spare parts is almost always the best way to check, but it doesn't *always* show when the phone isn't sleeping. I'd suggest you try downgrading PRI, but not if you had these problems before upgrading your radios. It must be something else. Rather than turning off just always on mobile data, have you tried turning off everything (possibly even airplane mode)? That will give you a bit more of a baseline to work off of. It might be better to just turn off wifi/3g/4g. See what that does.

Ok, I'd say either turn off the wifi/3g/4g radios during the night, and see if it helps. If nothing else, that'll help you get a baseline. A lot of network usage will cause the battery to drain. That's just the way it is.
