My last charge lasted 45 hours with just over 8 hours of awake time. Running this rom with lou's #9 kernel on a stock battery, no setcpu. Love it.

Yea, I probably would have gotten close to that if I wouldn't have plugged it in just because it was nighttime.

Don't quote me on this because this is in the realm of an area I am not familiar with. Going off of what I read.

I would think you could just pull a gmail apk out of a ROM (one that has the standard non-themed Gmail app) and install it via astro or similar program.

Anyone else chime in?
 
How do i get the HTC lockscreens? i downloaded the zip and tried to open it with metamorph, but it gave me an error. I then changed the extension to .apk in system/apps but still same error
 
Is there a mod to change the gmail and market back to black text on white? It's just so much easier on my eyes IMO. Awesome ROM. Love the speed!

Not a mod per se that I know of, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done. If you refer to my post #29 I think that will solve your issue
 
Quick question guys. I'm running 2.2 at the moment and just downloaded 2.3. Can I just flash without wiping since it's the same rom just updated version or do I need to do a full wipe?

I won't quote you ;). Seems like this should work but would it reduce the optimizations chingy51o has made?

Hi guys,

Did a full wipe (factory/data reset and cache) and tried to load the ROM. Keep getting Can't open..(bad)..Installation aborted.

Re-downloaded and tried again; same thing.

Any ideas?

You need to be on HBOOT 92, are you?
 
Great job! Love everything about this so far but where is visual voicemail? maybe I'm stupid (or just too tired) but I can't find it anywhere. . .
 
For those that may need it. I installed the vvm.apk for the x with astro and it seems to work just fine. . . couldn't find the one for the incredible.
 
i keep having troubles with it saying my boot is full, went to xda and got 2.3.1 and it has an assert failure. i downgraded my CM as well but no go :/
 
I just wanted to say that I've been running this for a few weeks, and I love it. I just wish I could have kept the transparent app drawer when I put Launcher Pro back on.

I agree with this. I'm running this senseless and I miss the transparent app drawer as well

question, was there a update to the market or something that killed the transparency? or a easy fix other than reloading the rom?
 
Yes the market updated, Reloading the rom will do nothing unless you freeze the market updater with titanium backup or another method, It could possibly update the first time u come back to it. so You'd have to freeze it with one of the available methods, Titanium backup i'd say being the easiest. Could flash an older market as well.

Or just wait a bit, if you're on XDA then you should be able to find the themed market thread. Fernando will be updating it soon
