Root [ROM][MIUI] Official MIUI [PORT]

Battery life is usually based on kernel and the build.prop, and porting will most likely mess it all up, but I will port it sooner or later and see if anyone has better life on their battery....is it a gingerbread ROM?
 
I'm having problems now trying to connect to pc :confused:, phones just keeps rebooting. it was fine at the beginning. I'll be thankful :thumbup: if someone can help.

Possible MMS fix for this ROM is to
1. Go in recovery
2. wipe /cache and /dalvik-cache
3. Flash MMS fix (links below)
4. After reboot, in home press Menu>System settings>Mobile networks>Access Point Names
5. Check that box so that you see a blue box inside the white box
6. I'm hoping this works :D I don't have my phone bill paid..

There are 2 fixes that were made. Sometimes one works and the other doesn't.
Only flash ONE and see if it works. After following directions, make sure it stays. If it doesn't then try the other one or if it's not working try the other one:

1. MetroMMSFIX by Playful God[Gingerbread]
2. MetroMMSFIX by Reppard[Gingerbread]-not supported by CWM

hey guys, can somebody help me pls, i flashed the mms fix, on reboot the sms force closes. now when i go to Menu>System i dont see mobile networks or apns.
all i see is this

oh sorry those directions were for a different version of MIUI
open voice dialer app
say "Open APN's"
follow everything else I said to do from there

I did, and everything was fine, it just started doing that maybe after like 30 mins or so. I didn't noticed anything specific on USB mass storage connection.

Hey Sammy,I'm sorry to bother you.just want SMS and mms working.otherwise the rom is perfect. The problem is that I don't have the voice dialer anymore

you write a how-to and make it the same format as the OP so that it can easily be copied and pasted, you got yourself a deal :D

Or I can nake it easier and make a how to and post the file :p haha just give me a little while I'm in the middle of moving.

I already did (I just have to upload when I get home...and add MMS fix, which I hope will work). There's an issue with themes as well that has to be solved manually until we can figure out how to fix it automatically.

I'm also having trouble to get primed to update his OPs on other ROMs...he may be back to full speed on it once he's out of school this Wednesday.
