It took me a few tries... and a "OH $*#T!" moment to get it right. I must say, it was worth the hoops to jump... because if there is only one thing I truly hated about Sense... it is the damn keyboard! Mobstergunz, you have done a fantastic job. It makes Sense so much more bearable. And, best of all, I have root!

Mobs, did you delete the sense lockscreen in this ROM? I think I remember hearing about something similar on a ROM for the One S. I thought it had to do with the lockscreen, but it was definitely something with one sense apps.

Yes, AOSP lock screen requires you to unlock before answering a call. I haven't seen any stock roms that have been able to get the AOSP lock screen working with the stock dialler. They all rely on Sense.

mind adding the leedroid tweaks ala harmonia? other than that I am now using yours over harmonia, you currently have the top rom. all of the tweaks and changes make yours utterly amazing...I just wish sense was still available, Its grown on me haha.

I added a pin so my kids won't unlock my phone. But when I get a call I can't see who is calling until I enter my pin and log into the phone. I went back to harnmonia and it displays the number or who the contact is when I get a call.

Hey Mobz, with the Sense OS in place with LeeDroid tweaks, there is an option for ASOP lockscreen.

Well, I guess that message was for everyone really.

I didn't necessarily delete it i just renamed it to "HtcLockScreen.apk.bak" so that if anyone that wanted it back could easily remove the ".bak" from the name and reboot to get it back but either way i personally don't like the Sense Lockscreen

In the next update i'll add the "Rosie.apk" back to the Rom but it will be named "Rosie.apk.bak"

I really don't see the advantage in adding the "leedroid tweaks" and i trust what Leslie Ann says

Try using a file explorer and doing what mobs says in this post about renaming the Lockscreen, and see if that works for you. Make sure that you do a nandroid first.

New update to 1.0.4 now includes 1% battery mod and Rosie.apk.bak

There is also a new Notes section under the Changelog in the 2nd Post of this thread
 
I don't see any instructions, so I just want to verify this: in order to upgrade from a previous version of this ROM, I assume we don't have to follow the full wipe/install process? Can we just wipe cache and flash the new version?

Also, MG, just a quick heads up that you list the new version as 1.0.3 in the changelog.

Thanks i didn't notice :)

You can try Wiping only Cache and Dalvik Cache its like a 50/50 chance that you'll get an error or not

i was able to update without wiping data this time but i made a backup before i installed anyway just to be safe

if you do get an error you can always make a backup of your data in the Nandroid Menu then restore it after you Flash the Rom
 
Thought i'd share :) looking at the phone i realized that the Location OFF icon in the Status Bar was an eyesore so i made it invisible its still there you just won't be able to see it :D

the extra options such as changing songs via volume buttons with it locked, i don't care about his design tweaks more the phone tweaks specifically. also did you remove the music widget?

I removed all of the HTC Widgets since they don't work without the Sense Launcher and it cuts down on the Download size
 
Just the ROM. Wouldn't flash so I what I would normally do is wipe everything and reflash the previous version and restore data but it wont even flash any ROMs.

I get that sideload error. I checked tthe md5 and it matches the one you uploaded.

Do you still have v1.0.3? i can make a small zip for you to update but i would also like to see if anyone else can't flash the Rom since i successfully flashed it.....

I would love an update rom as well so settings are not lost, otherwise ill stay on 1.0.3 until the next major release =)
