That's real interesting, Big Red was my favorite theme on this phone and thought I had to give it up.... might have to try it later.

yeah.. tbh honest since not alot has been done witht this device im sure most themes will work on all roms LOL just depends how deep the themer went :D if it has altered IMPORTANT system files than it sometimes may not work with other roms..

and btw sorry for the lack of updates just been bust witht this stupid kernel for esteem.. once i finish up ill be back on this and maybe even attempt another kernel for this thing :D OC'able

No problem, we are just thankful that you have done what you have already and anything else will just be a plus ;)
 
After testing beta 5 a couple of days, here is what i noticed:
- scrolling is not smooth at all
- typing txt in the default messaging app is an hassle, the txt is super slow

Very stable so far... awesome job!!!

answering a call doesn't show any buttons...is this normal?

OOPS!!! lol, it hard to notice tese things with no device to test on ;) but thanks for the info man!! i actually plan on increasing the scrolling speed, along with changing animations... as for text/typespeed i dunno man... LOL could be something else un-related causing the issue but ill figure it out :D

Also skype does not connect through wifi... this is weird.
Battery life does not look as good as with BoR.

I'll try to run Go Launcher EX tomorrow, that's the one i'm used to have.
 
1. I'm getting almost twice the battery life with this compared to B.O ....lovin that!
And I'm still using beta 2, with no fixes. However, I do have Beastcandy on it, putting that on seemed to fix a couple minor things....runs like a champ!
2. Haven't had a single random reboot...
3. This ROM also dropped my average temp 15-20 degrees, its staying right around 88 degrees now.
In the week or so that I've been using this its quickly become my favorite ROM.

Did a awesome job on this, thanks alot! Your work is greatly appreciated idrifta!
 
Status bar looks the same. it's still black. i can't open the settings. it fc. I can't even take a screen shot for you the screenshot capability seems to be gone.

Edit : ok finally got screenshot to work but i don't know how to attach. not sure if the status bar would be consider transparent but its got a lighter tint at the top?

LOL not the actual status bar... the background of the pull-down view :D it used to be solid grey, but im trying to get it transparent.. made some edits to smali file in sysui

how bout the settings? does it look smaller-ish?

to attach a file, when making a quote select advanced button next to sunmit message, then below the message box in advanced view is an option to attach files ;)

Im getting ready for wrk and then I have a meeting around 10am (its 5am here now) but I'll start testing in a few mins :)
 
The notification bar is all black instead of transparent, I have an all green wallpaper on so it would be easy to see. As fas as the settings,I can't get to it because it fc's every time I try, I hope this helps ==> (Screenshot)

1.Wow, i would love that...my battery didn't improve on the contrary it drained a bit faster the first day (but i'm running beta 5). Are you using any special settings? i oo have sync always on and i'm mixing wifi/4G use but i didn't change what i do with my phone (mostly call/txt/msg and listen to radio)

btw, what is Beastcandy doing?

2. same here...#2 is super stable!

3. same here also, even when it's charging the phone is cooler

Concur 1000% ;)
 
The only thing I've done to help save some battery is turn off background data & 4g when I don't need it, I'm not using any battery saving apps.
Like last night my phone was fully charged when I went to bed and I took it off the charger, when I got up 8 hrs later it was at 84%....if I would of done that on B.P. or B.O. my phone would have been dead as hell !

Beastcandy made all the sub text visible in the menus & the notification pulldown. None of that text was visible beforehand.
 
Link for BETA 2 isn't working? reupload maybe? Only reason is it seems to be the most stable of all the betas from the comments.
