Root [ROM][MS870] Katana

Still having difficulty updating apps at the play-store. Very intermittent...I think Google has some problems with it.

In Florida now but used to be exit 7.

Sorry, don't know what to tell you since it's not an issue with the rom and I haven't experienced this or anyone else. You may have to do some research on google and see if you can come up with something solid. If not you can try and trouble shoot in the thread you created for this issue.

I'll check google myself and if I come up with something I'll post in the other thread.

How's it been? I think I'm having issues with my wifi. I have been using your rom since week one but the wifi isn't as fast as stock. Is there anyway you could show me how to fix the wifi tweaks u built
 
I know a fully functional CM10 is almost here but.... I love this ROM and would like a new messaging color scheme. I'm not color blind lol. If I can flash something that is already available please point me at it... Especially in the monochrome / red variety to go with Dark Plague

i am loving this rom too but i second that request ... need a new messaging app

I am color blind. I take offense to that. If you don't like it, try changing it your self.

Just to clarify color blind people make many contributions to society, and are a clean and generous group overall. Those rumors about you guys eating people are mostly exaggerated I believe. Sorry if you felt slighted, just sick of pastels. :-)

GT, just curious, in the icyspirit ROM, you made the add blocker an optional flashable zip. Here it's included. I am using the version 1.3 zip on my Motion. Can you provide a zip file of the newer versions, or is that something you don't have time for. Thank you for you work on both phones.

I prolly wont be doing anything else for this phone since I saw my work today on another website being basically copied and renamed. I wasn't even mentioned in the credits. Reason I know is because I threw in easter eggs into my rom for this same reason.

Oh well. :mad:

In all seriousness GT, I'm not going to ask anything from you since you've given so much :D

But you can't live life without seeing people of all kinds good or bad. If nobody recognizes your work, You'll still have this small community to support you. Even if it's just through drunken posts :cheers:
 
There's always gonna be those that try to take credit when they deserve a kick in the balls. Let's hope that it happens sooner than later.

Hey I'm new to LG phones I've been rooting htc phones for a while
but is there anything i should worry about with the LG? I'm trying to root and install this for a friend
what recovery is best? TWRP is available for this phone?
and i read that apps could brick the phone? o_O
About the recovery not being able to reboot into recovery from an app?
I'll appreciate any help i can get thanks
