Root [ROM][MS870] Katana

We have 2 recoveries which are similar and install like regular apps. One is regular, the other is touch.

I included Google Now in all 3 of my roms since I really like it. :D

Just click the search bar or the google app. Or like tonylc74 said, you can hold down the menu button.
 
He, GT! I gotta say, I'm loving this ROM! I just flashed it today, and I'm exploring it right now. Some really cool stuff! I tried your MIUI ROM, but couldn't find anything, and read on the thread that it only works with its own launcher, and so I went to Katana. I have a question, though. I use Handcent SMS Pro. Would it hurt my phone if I uninstalled the system messaging app in favor of Handcent? Or should I leave the messaging app in place, or just disable it, in favor of my chosen app?

I would leave it installed and just disable the notifications. The original message apk has the needed MMS settings in the app to allow for MMS and hand cent is not made as a system app with those XML files installed. Just my opinion.
 
Looking good man runs flawlessly to have a 3g problem but it don't think it ts related to the rom. I'd like to second as well in the phone app everything is white background but when you view your call history for one person the bottom half is black. Also low battery notification has black text and a dark grey low battery image that is hard to see.

Otherwise great.

I think you may want to look into pin access or face recognition maybe. Another Dev had it set on a widget. Anytime your phone is out of your possesion, it is up for grabs. With it on the setup menu it just makes it easier to make our phones, into their phones, alot easier.
