Root [ROM][MS870] Katana

Now i have another problem i used the return to root method but now i cant root my phone i have the drivers installed i dont know what is going wrong

You should have been at root stock first. Used recovery apk to get in the cwm mode than factory reset. Than wipe cache and dalvik. After that just switch to external SD and install the katana zip. You would never lose root so no need to re-root.

This sounds like it could be a hardware misconfiguration. Flash TWICS-cm9-aokp-slim.1.5.1.zip which you can Google. It worked fine on both my Spirits before we had a real ROM from GT. I know everything works on there also. So if your WiFi doesn't work there then you have a hardware issue.

I have an idea of what it could be, if it's this than I hate to tell you but your internet service provider sucks. lol

On your phone go to /system/build.prop and delete the last 5 lines which start with #google dns. Then reboot your phone and see if you can connect.

If you connect that means your ISP doesn't allow you to use your own dns or perhaps you just need to enable this in your router.

This is a tweak I added for faster web browsing by using google's dns servers which are known as the worlds largest.
 
Finally up and running with "Katana" and love it. Great work again GT. Can I install your "Ad_Blocker_v1.3" on this ROM?
