Root [ROM][MS870] Katana

I have a problem with Nova Launcher. I bought the prime version but Nova still doesn't recognize it and I can't figure out how to uninstall and reinstall it. It is built into the rom so when I tried it I had to factory reset because Nova kept saying it stopped. It said to uninstall and reinstall Nova if prime doesn't work right. Since it is the main home I cant fix this

Strange... So far you've had 2 issues noone else has had. lol

After I installed the rom I went to nova settings and entered my email and verification code. After that my Nova instantly became Prime.

Here's what it should look like when prime....

I don't know what else to say since I know it works for sure. Who knows, perhaps sticking with the stock rom may be your best bet. Sorry :(

Lol. That's my luck. I repurchased under my other gmail in the Play Store and it worked fine.

GT...I have to agree with Keithman...I absolutely LOVE Icy Spirit 2.0 ROM. Please let me know why I should install Kantana as opposed to staying with Icy Spirit. (I hate to fool with success:D)

This is the best phone I've ever owned (had a LG Optimus M, which was OK)
But this phone with GT's Icy Spirit 2.0 Rocks:thrasher:

Each ROM caters to different users.

---Icy rom is more of a base rom with some added features and upgrades from stock. Icy is great for anyone that doesn't need such a custom android experience, but still enhanced.

---Katana is a much more custom experience with more added features for the more demanding android user. There are 3 themes for it with many more to come along with some mods to come as well. Not to mention how damn sexy this rom looks. lol

So really it comes down to what you're into. ;)
 
If I may chime in here, for me the icy build was more similar to stock os and for me I thought stock was just fine the way it was. Now with katana the look/feel and performance of the phone is totally different and quite enhanced. This rom is def the best rom we have right now hands down imo and it keeps getting better with updates and themes. Katana is where it's at! again imo.

Again excellent job on this GT!
 
GT I'm going to go ahead and flash this one and give it a whirl. Just wanted to know if you have an update for this coming soon and i should wait, or should i just flash this one? Great work!

For now I'm just gonna be making themes for this rom. ;)
 
Can I request something? Maybe send you framework and system with some custom icons and have you put it together and theme the rest of the colors/pngs to match?
 
GT I noticed in the voice recorder app if you hit share the bottom buttons are all whited out still. That wont stop me from keeping it. just wanted to point it out. Thanks for all the hard work!!!! :rock:
