Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM7 build 2013-03-03

besides knows issues the ROM is pretty stable. For the first time ever I actually went and tweaked some CPU governers settings. Can't say that noticed any differences, but the phone won't reboot or act up in any way. Overclocked it to 1.4 with no problem.
So far all my apps are up and running with no issues. Still very mixed feelings about GPS lock. Sometimes it locks in unknown locations in 10 seconds or so, sometimes it takes a good minute.
3G is definitely better. I mean after 3G fix it was better anyway, but you can really notice the difference when you driving and streaming Pandora. Pandora used to buffer a lot, not anymore.
Camera lenses makes a very loud noises, I think we had it before.
Wi-Fi sleep of death is gone.
Holo launcher definitely makes the whole experience smoother.

Thank you DEVs for your hard work.

Yes, same here with GPS. Still much better than before though.

The backlight dim before off is working great. Nice to finally have this back.

The amount of dimming prior to screen off is adjustable at
Settings - Cyanogenmod Settings - Display - Auto Backlight - Screen Dim Level

Lower numbers make screen dim darker, higher numbers make screen dim less dark.

Man this rom is so smooth. I didn't know the triumph could get this good. Good job g60.

Wasn't just me ;). Charishot and dsmryder have added a bunch to the code. It will continue to get better with each release so keep an eye on the build in the post as it will change based on the day we build.

I was rocking ICS, but this build is so buttery smooth, and especially with the wifi fixed, this is definitely going to be my daily now!

Finally feel like my phone is the bada$$ phone I wanted to be when I bought it at launch last year.

Is it safe to use bKernel with this ROM, or is the new kernel at the point where bKernel is outdated?

The kernel has some specific fixes for this ROM and the bKernel has many mods. If you do, would you report anything different you find? Also, is ther a reason you want to use that kernel. We may be able to intergrate those features into this ROM.

I've just generally read many positive reviews of the bKernel, with most people saying it makes CM7 more responsive and smooth (of course, you have to take into account that it was released 2 months ago before a lot of the recent progress).

You can try it out. WE all would like feed back. Any notes can help and even let other users know what may happen. Also, if you find a feature you like, we may included it.

Will the CM7 themes still work with this? I'm using Cynocream theme at the moment and love it with Holo launcher.

Yes it sure will! I am using it right now with Holo launcher! You will see it run much smoother as well from g60 style.

Can some one upload some pictures:) plezz and thank you

Well, I guess you mean screen shots, so, how about this

As far as anything goes, I guess you could reqest what you would like to see. The bulk of the work is in how it works, not in how it looks.

Yeah bKernel wouldn't be too good. Mine is setup for the newer kgsl drivers and don't have many of the things they have been adding into the one in this rom. When I get some time I will try to get a version that will play nicely with our newest cm7 build!

woot woot! something new to flash on my MT! havent done that for awile..my nexus 7 though keeped me entertained..flashing a new rom every like 10 minutes! good job!

I've gotten all my normal crap installed on this ROM, and I have noticed that Swype no longer lags. Very responsive. That was my biggest annoyance.

Also, as f'ed-up as the front camera is, it works for face recognition with Visidon app lock.

It seemed to run okay, although the battery drained faster than it does with the included kernel.

I gotta say that my battery life has been even better than it was before. I was getting about 18 hours, now I got over 24 the other day. One thing that has been killing it is the constant flashing and testing. But when I flashed the first time, I did my set up then ran it for the whole day. Around midnight, I noticed I still had almost 25%. Then came a string of tests.
