Go into SuperUser, swipe over to the info tab, and tap where it says "tap to check for updates". Then click update. Fixed the root issue for me.
I found after flashing Google Now, apps weren't able to detect root, and that fixed it.
Been there & done that this is a fully upgraded system.
I even forced stop, cleared cache/data, uninstalled, reinstalled superuser. same crap, I might try renaming the apk
Doing a google search this problem goes back to about june and most of the people with the problem used titanium backup, I have never installed this app and don't want the headache it creates
I have learned from this site and xda that restoring apps, data, etc using this app will cause blindness, cancer, divorce, etc ... (humour people)
