Root [ROM] Myn's Warm Z

It's running the NEW Sense 2.0, vs the old Sense 1.0 which has been on all previous (Sense based) roms for the EVO.

I just tried to do a restore of the data profile but for some reason it wiped out all the values and I haven't been able to connect to 3G. I even did a wipe and reflash of the ROM but no dice. I also tried to flash a working nandroid but when I look at the data profile its all blank. On the phone with Sprint Tech Support now.
 
you need to change locations by 3 miles.

basically connect to a different tower. if you have another one nearby they can force the connection
 
Do you know if the values in the data profile outside of the username and aaa shared secret are specific to the phone?
 
Nice and fast, hopefully at some point in time 4G will work with this but even without 4G, it's still fast:)

I think my issue was when I tried to do the proxy server fix (0 and 0.0.0.0) and then going into my data profile and selecting restore. After I select restore, my 3g data no longer works
 
Finally connected, lol. I had to flash an older ROM and it was able to do a hands free activation. Now flashing back to Myn's Z
 
I have been getting terrible battery life with this ROM. Is that just to be expected since it is a port? I was using the stock kernel and now I'm giving netarchy-toastmod more HAVS a shot but it's still pretty bad...

When you go back into your data profile is there a username set? Also towards the bottom there should be an ip address and subnet mask 255.255.255.255 listed. Is there anything there?

Shouldn't be related. That portion has very little to do with the data fix. Run the data fix portion again. If it still doesnt work your tower is not supplying 3g. Drive 3 to 6 miles away and try again. This will put you on a different tower.

Make sure you are not cancelling the handsfree activation after reboot. Hit ok when done. Cancel prl update.

I restored my RLS5 and flashed the previous radio after all the trouble, but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that info in there. I will try Warm Z again, maybe after another update

Yeah, you're right, because after I changed that I still had the problem. someone else on xda was reporting the same problem too. I wasn't getting any handsfree activation messages on Warm Z nor getting a reboot after a restore from epst. I flashed my previous radio and am back on RLS 5 now.
 
I love this so far, things are really smooth. Can someone recommend a good kernel to use? I've only tried AOSP roms before and I believe netarchy is recommended for Sense rom's?
My main concern is battery life.
 
Has anyone been able to sign up at htcsense.com and use the remote Sense 2.0 features with this? I tried but HTC Hub wouldn't connect.
 
Yes...I am 00mred00....trying to help the other guy too. I fear you guys may be on a bad tower or you may not be giving it long enough to do its thing before rebooting

Still experimenting but the included kernel has had.the best battery life so far. Netarchy 4.1.9 sbc no havs v7 iis treating me well


This keyboard striving me crazy. I need my rujelus multitouch kb ported over bit don't know how
