What problems are you having with LauncherPro? The only problem I've had so far was using the 3D app drawer, I just disabled it. Everything else is running fine for me.

I agree, once I disabled 3D on Launcher Pro it has run better and faster than it has on any of the other ROM's.

And I have also found this ROM to be the most stable and longest battery life of any of them.
 
Interesting stuff indeed. After being on .3 I got 2 random reboots today. Now my 3G is unreliable going to 1x then off at times. I did 4 days on .2 with no issues at all....so I'm going back to .2

@ NoShftShck16: I stopped using setcpu on this ROM for 2 reasons...1st instability even with just a screen off profile. And 2nd, there is no need (for me) to overclock my phone it's so fast I can't keep up with it. I don't quadrant or benchmark I just use it normally (well besides loading hacked hacks on it every so often) :)

And .2 everything is back to normal for me. yaya!!
 
V 0.2 is still in my first post. I found .3 to be basically 0.2 with the english patch already done, and people have been having a lot of issues with it, so I am sticking with 0.2. :)

Cool, I'm gonna give .2 a shot. So just .2 + the English patch right and maybe the bluetooth patch? Any other tips for install/setup to avoid possible pitfalls? Should I install user apps only and leave everything else out? I've been installing all missing apps/data but I'm wondering if I'm getting some interference from some of those items.

I installed .2 yesterday and voila everything is normal again no 3G loss no random reboot. I'm confident this ver is more stable. I did install the english.1. I have not done the BT patch and I won't will this week. If I get issues afterwards I'll know it is the BT patch. I restored my user apps and data within them with Titanium. All is well. I think it's fine to do that although you might want to go slow so if an issue crops up you can narrow it down easier
 
i still can't belive how fast this rom...just its smoothness and speed in running everything is apparent and its resulted in my best inc quadrant run of 1938 with the included kings kernel at 1.15
 
Pardon me if I'm being dense, but does "Internal storage (EMMC) does not mount correctly" just mean I won't be able to see the phone storage from the computer, or does the phone itself have trouble using it?

You won't be able to access the internal memory at all. Not from the phone itself or a computer.
 
Lil update here. Version .2 is like money. I had zero of the issues that plagued me before. Only thing I ran into was that Wireless Tether wouldn't work even after trying all the known workarounds. Saw a post on xda that said it was the kernel. Switched to Koush's test kernel and it worked right off the bat with my previous configuration perfectly in tact.

This thing is ruling the nation so far and battery life has been out of this world. I've been up for 6 hrs with moderate usage and my stock battery is only at 86%. Unheard of. Thanks Neco for the links. Glad you kept them as is.
 
Hows it working for people with the 2.15.00.07.28 radio?

*NVM, I decided to just use stock radio and it works fine. Pretty nice, hope the battery life is as good as everyone says it is.

Bluetooth working here: MIUI 0.2/1.2(?), radio 2.15.00.9.01, koush test #6 from rom manager

I put the question mark in because i didn't flash the 02.-1.2 update but 'about phone' settings states 1.2...

i did however flash 2 english fixes.

wireless tether working, wifi working, bluetooth working, pretty much everything but hulu working.

I am really digging this ROM, most difficult one so far to get everything to jive, but it gives me something to show for all this 'work' I have put into this hobby.
 
I had issues with syncing facebook, lost a few contacts, and couldn't change the wallpaper last night. I'll give it another whirl later tonight probably.

You may know about this already, but its helped me out a lot. I mainly used the Facebook sync feature to get pictures in my contacts, instead of seeing that same grey pic. My buddy told me about an app called SyncMyPix, which goes out and gets all your Facebook friends pictures according to your contacts list and Facebook friends.

Worked for me, hopefully someone else finds it useful.
 
First I have to say I do LOVE this ROM. It does have the best battery and certainly is the smoothest/fastest. But nonetheless, the amount of times it has rebooted or frozen up on me is getting ridiculous. So I am going to list some of the problems I have been having, hopefully someone out there has a fix because I really dont want to change ROMs.

-Freeze then Reboot (VERY frequently)
-Random App closures (most notably the browser and navigation)
-Trouble connecting to WiFi
-Poor Quadrant Scores despite OC
-MIUI Backups failing
-Titanium Backups failing

Some apps that might be playing a role
-SetCPU (OC'd to max with screen off profile)
-Ultimate Juice/Juice Defender (standard setup)
-Tasker (active w/o profiles)
-Timeriffic
-Y5

Please, someone help me keep this ROM. LauncherPRO was originally a huge pain in my ass but from what I've heard been working for people lately so I might go back to that.
 
What ver you on noshft? I went back to .2 I've never had a random reboot in 2 weeks. I did when I tried ver.3 though. And I waited till people reported on .4 and I just stuck with .2 :)

I'm now trying a sense ROM (RRR) this is the only ROM that has been successful at pulling me away from MIUI :p.....well so far

I'm on v0.3 Where can i get a .2 zip? or even a .4 zip?

What sense ROM are you trying??
 
I do believe he's talking about Redemptive R-EVO-lution Rom. Man, you and I are on the same page when it comes to Roms jbdan. :D

I've been using it all week and it's off the chain. Finally found one that coaxed me away from Frankenrom as my daily. I guess I just like the Evo backbone and the screen transitions are crazy good. Have you sped them up using Spare Parts yet? Makes it even better IMO.
