I have trouble sometimes installing a system app manually. I usually have to move it to data/apps and reboot in order to get it to work from which sometimes after I move it and reboot I still have to double click it to install it.

OH!!!! And I've been meaning to tell you this. I've tried to install multiple apps from the ZVD stock pull that just wont install. Settings for example. After installing it, it will never show up. I have had to pull the settings apk out of LD-LG in order for it to work.

Strange.

I went in again and tried to install it through systems/app and it still said application not installed.

So I guess I will monitor it to see if it keeps force closing or not? Unless it didn't install..?

First off, it's not already installed on the phone right? Meaning your not trying to RE install it because it's not working?

Installing a system app OVER an existing version will NOT work. You have to delete the app that's installed and then try to install it again. Which usually has to be done by placing the apk in the system/apps folder and rebooting. The phone installs the app manually this way.

if that doesn't work. CUT and PASTE the apk from system/apps into data/apps and reboot again.

Yah I deleted the file from systems/app then went ahead and downloaded and moved the hime.apk file to system/app and rebooted.

So I guess I just have to wait and see if it is still force closing.

Edit:
So it continues to force close but this time it boots back up a lot quicker and resumes functionality. Before when it force closed I could use the keyboard but not see what I was typing until maybe an hour later.

Mine still does that-RANDOMLY-then resumes to be fully functional-GRRRRRR

Happens maybe 2 of 10 times and only when I go landscape mode.

I bet anything it's either the launcher or an app that's messing it up.

Keyboard just aint gonna work for no reason, ya heard shawty? Haha

Hell, I uninstall the damn thing with every ROM I d/l so honestly I wouldn't know. lol
 
well.... lol first thing ill say... the stock keyboard also requires a lib file.. could be what causing your issue... why? i have no clue... but im more than positive the version i use will never be broken because none of it is downloaded lol it all started out with a stock zvd system pull lol.. so my #1 idea as to why your having issues is and always will be "I think you got a bad D/L" any 1 little file could have got corrupted during the download.. sorry it just happens..

now how i intend to fix it? im going to upload a flashable zip with just the HIME.apk and the required lib file to install into your system and wipe your cache for you etc..

as for the wifi issue... same reply... bad D/L is my only guess.. works fine for me everywhere i go lol, this is the first time i've had the same rom installed to my phone for longer than a weak haha.. finally get to enjoy this thing ;)

only solution i could possibly think of is the build.prop tweak, just delete the wifi tweak using rom toolbox or something, reboot to recovery to wipe cache & dalvik cache.. then reboot and try that out.. hope it helps you man..
 
I love how you care for all of us :3 and for both right? I wipe the cache and dalvik when I'm flashing no clock and kernel? Lol sorry I want to make I don't break anything.

yes lol, my no clock.zip already does it for you.. but i dont think the kernel zip's do.. so wipe manually..

Just when I am texting. Sometimes I will have days where I am texting like crazy and it just keeps force closing on it. And when it force closes I can't see what I am typing for like an hour or a length of time until it boots back up or something.

Mostly when I am texting it does it.

ok so maybe it the mms.apk itself? and not the keyboard..? lol does it only happen with mms?

Yah, I mean I don't really use the keyboard as much as I do with messaging. I use it for Tapatalk but that is only so much you know? So maybe it is messaging?

Sorry for giving you so much trouble. :(

Randomly for sure-hasn't FC on me in awhile.(Knock on wood)
When it would do it it would be messaging and tapa.
 
I've been using 1.9.2 for a couple of weeks, & it's starting to crap out on me. Superuser doesn't work ROM toolbox doesn't work. LOL, it even has my pictures erased. But they show up on Astro file manager. Who had the same version & went to 2.0, & have you had any problems since then?

LOL, OK. My pics came back, but still no superuser permissions for anything root. I do have to add that I have been leaving my phone on at night for about 3 days now. I usually shut it off & have had no problems till now. Got it shut off now. Fixin to turn it back on to see what's up. But could me leaving it on at night cause the problems?
