i have an idea.. lol while applying the background image used for the settings and some other apps, the line defining that specific detail used to define a color (black) which now i am using an actual image file, so anything that used that code seemed to change and or break.. the absolute ONLY thing i found that used the same code line (& broke) was the alarm clock apps (stock and aosp), only for the buttons though.. i dont understand why they were built that way but thats the problem..

i even tried a few work arounds by adding my own theme in styles & manifest but couldn't get everything to work right..

the stock alarm clock used the black background for a button which had an image for that button, but now that the background of the button is no longer a color but an image itself, it seemed to have broke the use of that button and the alarm clock image... but i like that change soooo much that im not gonna let an alarm clock app ruin it for everyone..

but it's the same reason why 2.5 remains in beta testing, because there still a chance it could break something more important :(
 
on another note.. im sure your all wondering why im not trying to get the system to it's best condition.. in due time.. :D as of now i want to keep pushing beta's of the theme changes etc.. to be sure it all works well for the final release :D once im comfortable with how the system 'looks' than ill start working on how it 'feels' lol

No problem sir you know we wait much appreciated with the latest beta's I noticed it does not have that snap 2.2 had maybe it's just me but also noticed a grayish screen when selecting different screens that's all I know it's beta just giving you my report :D

yeah that greyish screen used to just be a solid black lol, i know what you mean, it quickly appears when you open something.. it's the default theme of framework/styles

Exactly I really like the thing you did with the dialer while on a call the background is green and the call ends back to red nicely done :thumbup: like you said something might have broke the speedy transactions we used to get with 2.2 still is not bad with the latest beta
 
I'd like to give Number Two (#2) v2.1 a spin, but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have it available to share or is there a link for it anywhere?

Nothing wrong with it. I've asked myself this before. Why in the hell am I on here so much? But I give myself the same answer, to help people. You can't argue that that's a bad reason. People have hobbies. Me personally, I have WAY too many. From playing guitar, music engineer and producer, Honda enthusiast, avid pool player, computer and phone repair and of course modding Android phones. I just consider the forum another hobby.

Nothing wrong with that :D

posting again since no one replied and its important if i want to even use this rom..

For some reason, every time i have your ROM downloaded and installed on my phone, my phone reboots after getting a text massage, and then i wont get the text till wayyyyyyyyyyyy later. its not just the phone. because ive just got a new one from LG and turned in my old one BECAUSE of the reboots which i thought was the phones problem not your roms problem. But when it is back to stock, it doesnt do that at all.

Never heard of this issue. What version are you flashing? What is your process of flashing?

Hahaha. Not really a surprise per say. More of a gift. The compiled #2 thread of everything I had. Thought I could do it quick but that thread took me damn near all day to full complete lol
