Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

things to discuss about this rom in beta state ok once installs my status bar fc but thats ok it appeared again so mike told me to stick to the 2.2 since it was more stable but nuttz had me dive striaght into new beta version i had no apps fc till this morning my swype fc i remember nuttz telling me to install into system instead so i did and it worked pretty jiffy but this morning forget it kept fc on me. so im gonna do what shiny suggested and fix permz on cwm and see if that helps ill repost back any results!

Edit: ok results so far everything is working just fine swype is working from within /data/app than rather system/app just fine if it stops working ill post back.

ok so far no fc on anything i think that permission fox on cwm might of fixed my issues. but if anything changes ill report back thank you shiny and every1 else for the support and the tips!!

Yes I also fix permission gbiggie told me to and that solved the fc issues :D

Well it say the google apps has stopped working now last time i used gapps was with cm7 so is this a cm9 but labled rom# 2 2.5 beta :eek::D i think they testing us now so how do i fix this one
 
Well hey problem solved i just used the Gapps and it settled my problem with force closer and gapps suddenly stopped issues ..just have one slight problem why my cwm folder on my sd card has this rom labled cm9 and the version was 4.0.4 :D:eek::what: if this is part of the ics cm9 hey pretty good. Just saying that cause its so funny how this gapps just worked
 
ok guys, sorry for all the issues.. as of now the 2.5 beta is actually a beta lol so things may not work.. the updates have just been theme related mainly.. im almost finished up with the theming end (for now..) then i will start working on the performance/use-ability :D plus i have a treat for the final release... not gonna say what it is, but to tease you all the treat comes with much much thanks & appreciation to PG and his patience with me LOL

ok since its beta i relize u havnt installed all the drivers into in the kernel i just saw the hdmi driver wasnt installed so yea thats another thing to fiddle with lol

huh? i haven't altered anything in that feild as of yet on any released beta.. lol

Ok anaylis the fix permission thing on cwm fixed every fc I had so yea it's all good so the hdmi drivers and the permissions to be fixed on final and it's all good

Thanks doodie, 4 all your efforts and the work of all u devs out there. Wish I could do something to help, but my kid don't let fart around on my computer too often. Been stuck on the project of hacking his wii lately.
Donations will be due one of these days tho, but food electric mortgage gotta come first :-)

Gapps would be the same as flashing each Google app. It's just compiled, if i recall correctly.

i know they are a update to the system apps on your device but why would i flash to correct my framework and gapps and it corrected it but also i see in my external clockworkmod file that the report show this no.2 rom 2.5beta is a cm9 nighties 4.0.4 now you and i and a few others may no what cm nighties are . but hey you and i may have been using cm9 along the way i see it :D:rolleyes: but thanks go to the person thats name ldrift the way i call it so thats drift for my cm9 oh oh i mean rom no.2 2.5 beta:smokingsomb:
