Oh I see yes that was huge fuzz very nice of you :thumbup: I was just thinking how much fun we are going to have with the s3 playing with cm10 ROMs also nice to see that because of all you great group of guys the esteem community will remain strong with newcomers once we switch to the s3 you guys are leaving a legacy

Haha. I went by my Metro store today trying to pry info out of them. The only info I got, which WAS actually valuable to me, was that UPS doesn't deliver first thing in the AM so being at the store bright and early will do no good. And also there is no waiting list, first come first serve. Guess Ill just take that day off work and rummage around town till that sucker comes in cause ill be damned if I miss out. I DONT wanna drive all over GA trying to find one. lol

Well around here they do allowed waiting list but yes that is true about ups they deliver in the afternoon you and I might be on the same boat I might have to drive downtown too

Your not the only one. Reboot Happens to me all the time. Also does it after calls. Mine has also had delayed text messages, over past month (10 or so messages all at once a day late) but I was assuming it was a network issue.

This is why I flash back and forth between Driftas #2 and PGs Black Plague.

Just waiting for the day when these 2 gentlemen hook up, sit down with a couple computers, couple phones, and a couple hundred cases of beer and put there minds together to create the ultimate rom.

Phone rebooting with Rom 2?
look at bright sides.

Auto reboots may keep ram cleaner.

Rom boot so quick, barely noticeable.

Didn't get text from drunk buddy asking you to get outta bed at 1 am and pick his drunk ass up at 2 am? Blame it on Drifta

It's the phone itself, i never had this problem with none of the roms i flash on 5 different esteem. Are you doing a full wipe of everything?
 
Hi, anyone having problems sync-ing contacts to gmail, and GPS not being able to point my location?

I used to have an older version of this ROM with no problems.
 
How is the battery life on the newest Beta? Because I know personally, when I flashed the original beta, my battery MAYBE lasted 3 hours if i was lucky.

About the same since 1.9-I get about 20-21 hours on an extended batt(15-16 if heavy use):thumbup:
 
I haven't been able to use maps. It always tells me this even when I have data. I'm on #2 2.4.

EDIT: It doesn't want to update right now.. I checked I'm on 3030. I'm behind. I was on 3031 days ago though. How does that happen?

Didn't know it could revert back...hmmm
 
OK, I was able to fix the GO Keyboard crashing by selecting "Auto Rotate" option in the "Display" section on the main settings menu. For some reason unselecting that made Go Keyboard crazy.


My biggeat problem with 2.4 and 2.5 Beta now is the weather... no matter what app or setting I use, the phone can never recognize my location properly or show the weather.


I tried using apps that rely on accuweather and google, and also tried every possible trick like clearing cashe, and usinf wifi and GPS location, and mobile internet. Nothing works.


Any help? :(
