Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

user-prefference really... it just a "just incase" kind of thing.. if oc'ing isn't doin you justice than yeah i would.. but it's only to slightly boost performance.. ie: takes away from battery saving lol

2.5.1's official releas will be very soon, noticed a few minor bugs with some of the new theme additions and i almost have the kernel perfected "LOL" so keep your eyes peeled :D

Thanks for all the hard work and time you put in to make our esteem run better im looking foward to the official release :D

How's battery life with the oc kernel on 2.5.1. Is it the same or less since its oc?

Hey FuzzyTrece!! Do u still think overclocked=overrated. Lol

This is mine today, with extended battery..
Running at 1200 all day

This is what I've been getting as to battery life with the recent #2 versions
I'm satisfied with it.

honestly it shouldn't be much different than original speed kernel..

literally the only thing i added was OC and 2 gvnrs.. if anything, when applying OC the values for cpu freq's changed (including the default 1024) to a better uhh value? lol there's diff values per set frq, im not sure how else to explain it but it should be better if anything!!

just remember that it takes a day or two to really settle in, then you can get the best results towards whether you want to keep it or not..

Governor doesn't stick:(
But defiantly snappier:thrasher:
yeah i couldn't get em to stick for any kernel.. i edited the post_boot file in rom.. not sure what else to do... got the init.d scripts etc.. im not sure what else to do LOL i jus learned how to do what i did like 3 days ago :D

i can get my goveernors to stick if i actually poweroff then reboot. a restart from the menu doesnt power off properly

yeah but thats only because the app is re-applying them on start-up, but if you let your screen shut off, or even just wait a few minutes you'll notice your gvnr being used is not the one you have set :(

Pardon the question what does it mean by governor not sticking please don't laugh at me :(

ahh..i see i just now noticed

below is a list of the governors used in the kernel, and with any decent cpu controller, you can set the governor you want along with your cpu clock.
so, for some reason in this rom (or any other rom maybe..idk) we cant seem to make the governors we want to stick after rebooting
this list explains how each governor works
