ok, im just going to include speed lol you guys inspired me.. 1.3 unlshd seems to be doing better but still the speed_stock is #1 with battery :D it's going in!!! contacts, here i come!!! tomorrow... lol

I may be in the minority here, but I haven't noticed a difference in the battery with the unlshd kernel. I have it at 1024MHZ and get roughly the same battery as with the speed kernel.
 
I have been using fuzzy's theme for quite a while but have recently switched launcher themes, can I just pull the statusbar from the #2 rom and put it in my current setup without breaking it lol. I only want the white status bar everything thing else I want to leave as the JB theme.
 
2.5.1 no bueno on my phone, battery life sucked even with the speed kernel.....

went back to the 2.5 and THUMBS UP, batt life with this version is AMAZING
 
I had the same problem, it was something in the rom draining my battery. I'm perfectly happy with beta4 though so it's all good.

Negative. The other poster and myself have battery problems with the rom also. I'm not going to retype my 4 posts before this one but suffice it to say that we have more than a kernel problem.

Well weird no one else had issues until the kernel update or at least only you and that other person for most of us it was the oc kernel but big l will let us know

I too think it had something to do with ROM itself, because I even flashed the speed kernel and the batt life still sucked. I dont know enough about programming roms and whatnot but I do know that my phone would only last like 5hours if that on the 2.5.1(ith either kernel).
Back on the 2.5 and all smiles!!:)!

My bluetooth works on the 2.5 FYI, never tried it on the 2.5.1

This post reflects my experience 100% and also reminds me that i dont say thanks enough to Ldrifta. Ive been on #2 since the first release and have always enjoyed it. Wonderful job on this rom LD and i think i speak for everyone when i say thank you for the countless hours you have put in to it.

What do I need to do to install the unmodded settings.apk. IM trying to copy paste it but after rebooting it says not installed. I need a working bt more than the extras in the 2.5 ROM. Trying to do a file transfer crashes settings and interrupts transfer.
 
hey guys.. sorry for the dissapearance lol apparently the cable company expects you to pay the bill on time or they shut you off..? lol nahh i actually switched over from verizon to comcast but lost internet for like 4 days so i just tested the sh*t out of the latest kernel... and ehhh i dunno.. lol it's better than the last.. but doesn't compare to the stock/speed kernel.. so thats my choice for rom update.. gotta work tomorrow mornin, but after work ill put together what i can and push an update for yu guys :D

Sounds good brother appreciate it;)
Disabled duns.server & everything bluetooth (never use it) and battery life awoke-18+ hours or more.
Wish I was working Saturday-they canceled it:mad:

i remember you saying some where that you had this rom and kernel on github? if so can you throw a link in the op?
got my new machine and i wanna finally try out GRP:D
