Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Okay so i did the move from 2.7 to 2.8.1 and my backup went corrupt. with 2.8.1 I have a couple BIG issues.
First off can't take any pictures, at first thought must when the flash is one but nope even when its off, after it focuses and is about to take it the phone will power cycle .
Second, it has Brando, reboots every couple hours
lastly though and maybe most importantly to me is that the WiFi tether doesn't work anymore :( the app wont load the WiFi driver i believe , the WiFi antenna doesn't turn on to broadcast the signal , i do believe its a ROK problem because before 2.8.1 it was working correctly

Most likely a bad download. Down load again and reflash

i thought that would be the problem but then i redownloaded already and tried it out. i even changed ROMs to devorted 2 but i got the same WiFi tether issue . so i don't know whats going on. i believe it might be that the version has been updated to 2.3.4 and not 2.2.6 not sure though

Any question I ask is because I don't know your experience level. I'm no expert but I know I have never had a problem with any of the versions of #2 that weren't common issues with everyone who flashed it. Are you downloading the Rom over a Wi-Fi connection or your 4g?

okay so I've been ROM crazy trying to figure this out.
EVERY ROM i have tried with android is 2.3.4 gives me the same exact problem . i haven't been able to find a 2.2.6 rom anywhere :(
 
I guess I am a little confused how you have 2.2.6 on your phone. I thought the LG esteem came with 2.3.4.
 
Wow sounds like you got the new Lg esteem. I always wanted one of them cause its a limited edition only a handful made . Some even say that isn't a lg esteem . Hahaha. But u have 2 2 6 you need to have to return this .

the phone was manufactured 03/2012 so only a year old got it 6/2012
saying to swap it ? it came with ZVD
 
phone is now not rebooting. powers on to lg boot and then off....my day is getting more frustrated now.

time to try to make it stock again and take it in to metro. -___-
 
Wow i had the samething not to long ago. Sounds like u got a bricked device . Hot u got time and patients cause now with some tender love and care you can fix remember this T.L.C (tender love and care ) will have u running again . :eek::what::sly::banghead::confused::rolleyes:
