Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Well if it doesn't try to hold down the vol. Down and power it will just pop on it did it to me didn't show up at first but did the combo and bam was in
 
The only thing this rom needs.... Is gold... I kno u did a gold thing 4 number 2, but everything abt this.. Including the top bar, battery.. Everything... Needs 2 b gold
 
I'm rather amazed that I've had this phone for over a year now and with the #2 it runs awesome still with the exception of the battery. But I think it just needs replacing anyhow. Will re-attempt calibrating.

I almost had buyers remorse when I first bought it. It was on ZVC and had the power cycle issue. It's a pretty good phone now considering!
 
I went back to trying 2.8.1 after a complete WIPE and SD wipe......No problems, although I must say I didn't d/l the rom manager or toolbox....I think those might have some kind of funny effect, but it may just be me and my phone? Who knows, either way I'm now a happy 2.8.1 user :thumbs:

ive noticed this too. i had installed ROM toolbox and after a day or so, i would have horrible lag issues, only way i ressolved it was task killing all the apps constantly(every10 minutes) ive reflashed 2.8.1 and havnt donwloaded these apps and its running incredibly fast no lag and its been about 8 days and what a difference.!

Well had you made your post 1-2 years ago, I would have agreed with you on the "what's the point of forums" comment. This phone is now over 2 years old and many people have moved on including the developer of this great rom. He is involved in other projects but still drops by to keep his Esteem work updated and is very much appreciated by those that still have this phone.

The links to most of the versions of this rom used to be available in the OP, but are no longer probably due to simply needing the hosting space for other projects.

Try making a post in this link below for your v2.5 request. Hopefully you get lucky.

Its not that we don't see it but some feel that since you posted something similar we are thinking he or she may have found the answer to your problem . Keep in mind as the other forum user said the device is old and a lot has been posted about this device .
 
Need help! After i flash the rom, my internal sd card memory goes down a lot ....before i flashe it i had about 2 gb left on my phone....now i have nothing! And when i try to format or erase everything on my sd card, the sd card and phone storage setting force closes!!! Help pleasee!
 
I'm on v.2.5, and I've been having trouble with the dialer, the app is having problems when ending a call. I will press end call and it doesn't respond. Any suggestions?
 
I just installed v2.81 #2 rom but now my battery dies even faster than 2.7 how can i fix this problem
And also android system is using 98% of my battery thanks to all the guys on this forum for all the help
 
Now this is what's been talked about if u see the threads everyone has went back to 2.5.3 . Now i posted something about the 2.7 . The drain is from the kernel . And the int. System folder is missing some things to make smooth .
 
Can you please explain what kind of things are mising to make it smoot and you recomend to go back to the previous version ? And please how can i add the mising stuff that ur talking about thanks bro

Well its a lot and if you are good with roms its the daily usage things like one the kernel and busybox installer . Not the one that come with the rom the second one that was provided to make extra items run smother . This is why everyone has went to 2.5 or the 2.8 . Remember the dev will make the roms and maynot put it all together for u like the one that came with the device . You can add to his work or delete things to make better . So with that being said i can tell you something that you may feel don't work .so play with it see what you can do with them
