Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I made the switch from broken out to this rom after discovering i could install the swype beta. This is one of the best roms I've run on my phone. Drifta excellent work! Like kesslers smooth as silk :p

No issues at all. I've got 8hrs on the batt using my phone heavily all day. I know i could get 20+hrs on a regular light use day. Will be testing on the morning.

Edit: Running homeless 1.3 with this rom btw.
 
Is the a way to get a flash-able zip of this task bar with exactly this icons? With out the clock centered.

how do you install the default lockscreen? i tried install from zip and the same one came up... and how would i get the default llauncher?? those are the only things that would make this perfect for me...
 
How easy is it to make the time centered idrifta? ;) Also I'm gona pm you, want to ask you a few questions :D
 
Are those build prop in the OP already inside the ROM, right? :)
I'm confused!

EDIT: I checked, all of them are installed except the Qualcomm one :D

same thing happens to me...also on answering a call and hanging up..screen will stay black and finally light after endless tries...it really sux..i have done a full wipe..and it still happens :(
 
op updated, 1.7

-fixed alarm clock icon
-removed headset icon
-added qualcomm build tweaks
-put sleep mode back to 1 since it wasn't the issue with lock scren

but i think i did figure out which tweak it was.. i set the power collapse from 0 to 1 and i think that should fix it i hope!!

as for the end call/during call issues you guys are having i would assume it's with the tweaks in build.prop.. sometimes if you just tilt your phone around it works lol but if causes more issues ill remove them.. not like they save battery or anything lol
 
let me take a chance here to explain something..

1.7 is an exact duplicate of 1.6.1 but with minor changes.. 1 image change, a tweak change in build.prop, and a edit in smali files for alarm clock..

so it "should" be safe to flash on top of 1.6.1 with no wipe.. (but of coarse if you have issues do a full wipe and re-install first before reporting bugs..)

the only reason we normally tell you to do a full wipe is bacause some of the slightly more advanced users like to dig into the system and play with settings, which then could cause major issues when installing a new/different rom (whether small differences or large all the same) if you dont wipe data..

the data folder stores a lot more than you think.. it's not just downloaded apk's from the market lol, all the little changes you make to normal settings are saved in data than applied at boot such as selecting/unselecting auto-brightness, your change is saved in data then applied everytime you boot your device, the files in system folder are never changed (unless manually via adb or zip files) which explains the 'factory reset' just deletes your data folder so everything you did to it is gone but system is still there with all default settings as they should be from box lol

but when you root your phone you can change more specific settings that could mess your device up or cause issues for you (which gets saved in data) so if you dont wipe data than whatever issue you experienced in previous version, will still exist in the new version after installing.. get it???
