Nice and smooth-only I deleted was FB -didn't even kill any autoruns other than maps. Seems like it settles in after a day or two so I know battery will improve from here:thumbup:

I flashed 1.8, wipe everything. Loaded up fine. was restoring with TB when it got stuck after trying to restore poweramp. Took the battery out. When i restarted the phone it got stuck on the android boot.
Went into CWM to restore 1.7 back up....doesn't do anything when i click restore or any other option. press power to select something all it does is clear the options and shows the clockwork icon. Any ideas?
 
The go back option was disabled. Do you know how to boot into cwm using the button combo manually? Cause if you do then you can pop out the battery and boot into recovery and redo everything.

Power amp keeps giving me an error when installing basically saying I have no storage left, yet I'm able to install other Apps just fine

Sorry guys if you yall having issues I don't use tb backup but I wonder if this will cause any other issue with other things so far I don't see any issues with 1.8
 
After I updated to ZVD, I tried the Broken Out ROM and it was OK but I wanted to try another. I flashed #2 and the difference in battery life is pretty evident. I took my phone off the charger this morning, used it as I normally do, and it's now almost 11 pm and I still have 29% (which would have been unfathomable when I was on ZVB). :thrasher:
 
If you guys are having problems with Poweramp I wouldn't blame them ROM. It's obviously a problem with the app. Don't blame the ROM because it wont restore 1 app. Re download it. Delete your backups and make new ones.

On the zip file boot animation is located in system/media. That's where its put on EVERY single ROM.

Inside the phone it's also located in the same place. There's 2 things inside the media folder, bootanimation.zip and audio folder. That's it.
 
holy crap.. guys i appologize for the listed issues lol i have poweramp apk saved on my sd card.. thats how i always installed it so im not sure if there an issue with it only on market.. but it seems to be the only app you guys are experiencing problems with so there no logical reason for it to be rom related.. but maybe the backups.. or i dunno but i will take a look :( everythings working fine for me, even net speed seems to be faster now that the buffer tweak was corrected lol feel like it kills on battery tho when data is enabled (not wifi) but i think thats more 'location' related lol

but as promised if needed ill push out a fix :/.. my first thought is for those of you experiencing issues, if you can, grab a copy of an older build.prop from a previous working release and push it to your device, reboot and see if it helps :D if so than ill know it's a build prop tweak..
 
I'm running his LD-LG ZVD Rom which is basically the same as #2 just stock and I can use titanium backup without any issues.

No your good. :D There were some others that were hinting at the ROM more or less. Which it could be but there's plenty of ways around it so theres no sense in making a big deal about it. ;)
 
I have no problems at all,and i also think the problems u guys are having with power amp has nothing to do with the Rom.;)
 
Yeah, the app is probably not compatible? if that even makes sense.
I tried it with a fresh download from the market and it fails to finish installation. =\ The stock music app works well.
