Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Is anybody else having problems with the sound cutting off when making a call on speaker?

I do not use it frequently but I have notice that when ever I call to retrieve my voice messages on speaker the sound cuts off and on thus I can not make out the message.

Currently I am running 1.8.1, but I think it has been happening since 1.6

Games, music and videos work without any problems, so I guess there is no problem with the speaker in itself.

When the framework from the stock ROM is used the Automatic Brightness works great and is not noticeable. I'm always In and OUT at work so I need the Automatic Brightness. There's is something/file with in the framework in this ROM that controls the Automatic Brightness. I'm new at this but I know that's where it is. I just cant find witch file...

it's the arrays.xml, controls the values used for auto brightness.. i mpretty sure :D why do you want to know..?
 
Don't know if it's my phone but the end call button and the dialer pad do have a delay maybe it's not the rom I think the rom is perfect maybe I have to tweak some settings on rom toolbox has anyone else noticed that?

I've noticed this too. I thought it was because I am using GoDialer EX. Could that be the problem or is it something else?
 
is there any way to go back to the bubble conversation type in the SMS stock app? I wanna try to avoid go sms. apart from that, I'm loving this ROM!
 
Got a question.. loaded this rom wiped did everthing step by step in the 1st post of this thread but when i get to android loading screen it sometimes bootloops with a black screen or freezes.. am i doing anything wrong?

Try re downloading again and wiping might just be a bad download
 
Ok will do... another thing i was wondering.. from what i have been doing since day one of playing with roms i always wiped all after install.. should i wipe first or after install? or does it matter wipe first or last


That seemed to work..wow i didn't think it would have been a bad d/l but were working...thanks again.

Why would you wipe AFTER the install? Your installing a fresh, brand new rom so why would you wipe AFTER?

You wipe before you install anything, hence so you install the ROM on a fresh wiped system. :confused:


Let's look at the instructions.

Flashing Instructions:

*The installer-script is set to format system, cache & dalvik cache :D

1. Make Backup of current ROM

2. Wipe Data (use ez-wipe or manually via recovery)

3. Flash rom (in recovery)

4. Reboot and Enjoy!

5. Reboot again to enjoy even more! seriously!!!
